@Hamaravalo After buying all 4 plots, you can buy "prosper levels" or something like that from the mayor. Every three levels you can upgrade one of the town people or do other things. Each guy has a max level they can level up your stat/farm to.

It would be great if the plants worked like they do in my backyard... so you can either go buy the seeds, or keep a plot of ____. Spend time on the plot (In real life this would be you killing off the plants that don't produce as well, and saving seed from the good ones) and get better seeds that way.

Maybe if you could hire the women to work for you (once they like you) and their skill would be half during that time, it'd give you an idea of who has what skills from play (rather than reading it in comments)

Am I the only one who finds it kinda annoying to have to click on a tiny spot in the corner of the window to advance the conversations?

CobyCyne: However, if you are REALLY indecisive you can go to the load/save menu at the bottom of the screen, save an online backup (click “save” at the bottom right under online backup), then choose one. After you spend some time working with them you can, if you want, go back and load the online backup save and try out the other one’s skill. Note: Do not progress too far or make another online backup until you are sure of which one you want. The game autosaves any time you go to the village but this has no effect on the online backup. Hope this helps.

CobyCyne: You can’t have more than one wife. The moment you marry one you can’t interact with the other two at all. The “ability” each wife has is just a significant boost to one of the three skills you can upgrade for your wife when you level her up. So, you can choose a wife with one ability and spend time leveling up the others (which may take a while to get the bonus to any place decent). Personally, I chose Brenda because the ability to have eggs automatically be collected let me spend more time doing other things without having to check back every few minutes to see if a chicken is ready to lay an egg (egg-laying is semi-random and you have to click to collect). Plus, once you get to a certain level of compost the benefits of/need for irrigation are negligible.

YetiFTW: I believe you need to buy prosperity levels/points from the mayor. You get to choose an upgrade for a person in the village every 3 levels/points and one of those upgrade options brings in a person who will buy eggs in batches of twelve (on the upgrade screen it will be the star next to the person who sells chickens).

I am still playing this game whenever I have something to do on the computer. It's so good. However, I have to wonder if there's going to be an Idle Farmer 2 (Not Farm Rush, something like a bigger and better Idle Farmer).

Good game but still needs more fields and if u could have more farms like the first farm 4 fields second farm 4 fields etc

Nevermind, the merchant does show up. But not until prosperity 12 (it's supposed to at prosperity 6). This is definitely a bug

the merchant never shows up at the village. Is this a bug, or are you just saying that the merchant wouldn't be a permanent resident?
