FINALY I BEAT THE GAME. Now time to beat it with other clases. I Hate the Ice levels they just keep slowing you happily i had more than 50% def against cold.

Rock on, finally got the Hard badge (using Fire Mage, and got lucky that the lowest levels were the lava ones). One bug I noticed - when you're stuck in a web you can click on gold to instantly pick it up anywhere on screen without moving. Great Game!

"your level 12 storm mage was killed by a slime in the sewers." I underestimated the things. and I got surrounded and ambushed.

Just completed under 45 minutes with each class. The deciding factor was really how close together the stairs are in the later levels so that you don't have to go exploring.

After trying again and again and again to beat this game, I have finally done it today. Today is a day of great victory.

Stuck with locked doors and not a single key in any of the previous 6 levels...sucks as it was a good run and looking to be a bugless game.

Honestly, the only thing I can think to add while playing this is maybe a free mode where you can play with all the different items and monsters in a custom room. I'd like to admire the work put into it a bit more by seeing all the various rare items and mob spawns you have included into the game. I would also throw out the idea of allowing players to built custom maps but I think that is probably stretching the features of a free game a bit too far.

So lvl 20 is max level?
And once you maxed out all the merchants slots with your sells, you cant see their new stuff?

Hey guys I've got an exploit for the rogue: You all know the rogue does his damage by sneak attacks but often you can't seem to get in range or take out that high health enemy well here are 2, first off by going up or down the stairs then returning to the floor you were on you can make all enemies unaware of you, but it is only good if you are near the stairs, second you can also make enemies lose awareness of you and remove status effects, and poison clouds by saving and quitting then continuing. You can use this to turn around a tight spot, it isn't underhanded or cowardly it is using your head.

So this game is pretty neat, but there are two little things that have been chewing at me: it keeps happening that I click a pixel off and die to an attack instead of killing the mob - half my own fault for inaccuracy, but still.
The other problem is a bug in the game - if I use an ability that kills an enemy that levels me up, it levels me up before using the MP for the skill that killed the enemy.

i think this is the most laggiest rogue-like pixel game i've really enjoyed. i think the times that one cannot simply heal up adds a bit of realism.

So... Thunderclap's descriptions says it stuns all visible enemies for five turns... just got killed by a Spider because it was only stunned for one. >>

After increasing failures from the melee classes I went back to a storm mage to try and win that way... I got to floor 10, triple enchant on my staff, full storm magic and a double fortitude. I "cleared" the floor, got some stuff from the merchant and got jumped and double teamed by two skeleton warriors waiting around the corner. I had 18 health and they knocked me down to zero.

ahahahaha SOB, i died from an ice mine explosion i was running away from, on auto, to go get a green potion before going to floor 16, cause i assumed that's the boss.

Attempt 70: I just found something interesting: the talent trainer is immortal. Or at least he's immune to poison gas considering that he's sitting right next to the vent like it's nothing. ...I'm really tempted to accept his training now...

Bug report: it's possible to be killed by "blood", if the enemy that killed you is dead before you die (as can be caused when an ice imp ends up killing you with its trap after you killed it)

My Necromancy skills indicate I should be getting heals from my attacks, but no healing is happening. Did I miss something?

running a game, doing great, go down a floor. Walk into the water, ambushed, takes me from full health to 0 in 2 hits. the F*** game.

Attempt 60: I have finally done it. After many trials and tribulations I have succeeded where I had failed so many times! I don't understand why every video game luck system simply hates me but it doesn't matter! I have succeeded. I think after these 3 gaming sessions I am entitled to a break. For those curious on how I succeeded this time; I found at least 20 skill books/points this time around, half of whom were on the first five floors. Now I shudder at the thought of trying a melee class, but I will consider it.

Since this is a turned based game, it makes no sense victory conditions are based on the TIME it took you to complete it. Instead, the objectives should be to complete the game under a certain amount of TURNS.

Attempt 51: I spawned next to three bats this time. Not too bad but the damage right at the start is still annoying. I got half the books during this run. though to be fair they weren't that much help. It was a mechanical environment this time around. The amount of different arenas are quite surprising and a welcome change in scenery. Despite the changing dangers of course but it keeps it interesting. I think I'm going to stop to day and attempt it tomorrow. The triple ogres that killed me have annoyed me far too much.
