1 star based on the same exact game as the original but more importantly the "buy the rest of the game" nonsense.....its a flash game...No

Would vote 2/5, but since so many people has given the game a 5/5, I feel like it's my responsibility to help bring the rating down a bit, so I'm giving it a 1/5. Having a lot of content being premium only (I'm guessing a lot of people voted 5/5 before realizing this) is the same as having an unfinished game. Not fun.
We're sorry if you feel like it's your job to bring down the rating of the game. I definitely understand that having content behind a payment can be off-putting, but that content is optional. It's there if you want to help support us as flash game developers - if not, that's fine. Due to licensing agreements with our sponsor, we're unable to just have all the content unlocked, unfortunately. Regardless, I thank you for your time with the game and apologize if you weren't able to get enjoyment out.

The game itself is well made somewhat fun, but this exclusives with other sites and difficult payments made the game too burocratic and mercenary, that's why is 3/5 for me.

Why would anyone even want to buy the premium content? I liked the 1st one, but i wouldn't give 1 cent for any premium bullcrap on this game or any other. STOP PAYING IN TO THEIR TRAP
What trap? Is there something we don't know? The premium content has and always will be optional. It's there if you want to support us as developers and have more content to play through. Unfortunately, due to licensing issues with our sponsor, we're unable to just have the premium content unlocked for those here on Kongregate. These games take a lot time to make and sponsorship money is not as grand as it once was. Why people get up in arms about a free flash game, I'll never understand, but I'll still respect your opinion. Sorry you weren't able to enjoy the game!
Sorry that affected your rating of the game so much! The premium content is and always will be an optional part of the game. It's there if you feel gracious enough to support flash game developers. Flash game sponsorship is not as grand as it used to be, so we don't make much money in the first place and these games, believe it or not, do take a long time to make. Regardless, I'm sorry you were unable to enjoy the game at its fullest. Maybe next time! Thanks for playing!

One tip that's not obvious from the main screen (it's a scrolling tip) is that if you 3-star a world on monster difficulty 7 or higher, it'll automatically level you up. So once you've progressed part way through the map, you can go back and do the first couple levels on difficulty 7 to level up faster.

1 star, sorry.
Nothing original.... Upgrade are useless. With dmg lvl 1 to 4, bat still needed 2 shots.... 12'000 gold for nothing.... Maybe add a wave or level progression bar.

Well I've never played the first one and I do like this game. So I can't comment on similarities but I can say that it would be nice if stars or flag changed to indicate that level has been done on 10 monster setting and +1 talent has been achieved. It's annoying clicking each one and checking and then exiting.
Other than that. A fun game. Something that you can use to while away the hours....literally..oops. 2hrs down.

Yeah to be honest, this game feels more like a remake of the first one then a actual sequel. Still fun but only a 4/5 instead of a 5/5

This is a very good game! I haven't played the first Sentry Knight, but after this I will definitely have to give it a go! Only problem I have with this game is that it doesn't have any badges! 5/5!

It's an alright sequel. Short, and not very difficult to beat; I never needed any tier 3 spells and pretty much ignored the plague path. Here are the problems/maxxing strategies:
Arrow damage is worthless in later levels. Spell damage doesn't scale down on later upgrades, and once you have 5 spells unlocked you shouldn't have a problem with firepower if you time things right.
You don't level up a lot without a shit ton of grinding, which is pointless because the boss is easy enough to beat without it.
The worst part of this game IMO is that the spell trees are WAY too interconnected. Fire spells help out ice spells which help out fire spells again which help out poison spells and so on. It feels like you miss out on these synergy benefits if you don't spread your points between at least 2 trees, which means you're not gonna see any tier-3 spells till you're already done with the game. 3/5

Overall pretty good, contrary to some popular comments, I don't feel the damage upgrade increments are that bad. I do agree, though, that spells are actually the main focus of the game, the bow is more of a filler when things are on CD. 4/5

Omg.
I'm sorry. I deserve all downvotes over these ones. I completely mistook this for a totally other game. Yeah, Sentry Knight 1 was good, forget anything about "ugly, laggy" etc... damn. And I keep comparing it to the wrong game the whole time. *ashamed*

This is the shell of a great game, but I really wish it had improved upon a few of the things from the first game. For example, it kind of sucks that all the upgrade paths are kind of the same. The spells are different, but the statuses are all done the same. I wish there was more variation based on what you focus on.

Opinion on the game: Well... I'll say this, this is a very polished, good-coded (no lag-issues whatsoever) and generally fun game. That the Premium is not possible seems strange to me. I once bought my premium for "Legend of the Void 2", *with kreds*, and to this day it says there "Armor-Games Premium". Did Kongregate change it's policy since then? - On a negative note: This game feels "casualized". The last game was really bulky, partly ugly, partly laggy, but had way more content instead of the "scale your own difficulty 1-10)". The game was unbalanced as all hell, but it provided challenge and alot of options and opportunity for experimentation and was therefor more fun (to me at least). Don't get me wrong though. This game is, as mentioned, good and challenging in its own right, but I really wonder why you would ditch so many good and fun things from the last game.

Okay, I'm through now. - General Hints: 1. While it is always a good Idea to use the Frigid Blast to move enemies on the front to the farther back enemies and then hit them all with Fire-Ball/Plague, the 2nd unholy skill brings this to a whole new level. It can literally wipe out half a wave if you use Gargoyle obove the front enemies (which will then move forward)->When Gargoyle is in position you use Frigit Blast (preferably lvl 3) on front enemies and the bombs of Gargoyle (Preferably lvl 3) will hit alot of enemies (the ones that were behind before went up, the front ones got knocked back). - Also: Max all 3 first level spells and then concentrate on your favorite skill tree. - In upgrades Bow and Bow are helpful in the beginning, but towards the end you really should save up for Torch instead of wasting your money on additional Bow/Arrow (having them on five or six is ok). Tower you generally should only upgrade if it costs nothing compared to anything else.

Great game, deserving of all 5 stars. I like that you made a new upgrade system for the bow and tower rather than scatter upgrades into the talent system like SK-1. And while I won't score a good game harshly for this, I'm not happy with the premium content requiring me to create an account with armor games. For you guys I did, because this is an exceptional defense game. But please make a more universal system for your premium upgrades. And talk to the kong guys about achievements.

for ones you can stop, crying about killing bats with 2-3 shots, need to be patient, and then its east to kill most of enemies!

@Ordukai if you think that is heresy then you obviously never watched Avatar, the most advanced form of fire bending was considered lightning.

The game is really good but i do need to ask, is there a way to transport your save at Kong. to armor games since i'm at level 34 and i don't want to restart to play the premium stuff.
At the moment there is not, unfortunately. However, I'm currently looking into making Local Saves transferrable to the AG Online Save. Thanks for asking!

Enemies you encounter in Survival Mode don't show up in the bestiary. Also, survival mode seems rather unprofitable from a farming/grinding standpoint compared to just running missions at high monster power.

It would be nice to see which battles you've gotten the reward on since you have to click on the battle, adjust the power meter, see you got it, x out, try again.

@Atombender: You can use the Wall of Fire spell to burn a spider. You have to get the placement just right, but its doable.

lv 3 BUG --- "don't get hit by MORE THAN 3 cannonballs" ... but if i got hit by 3rd cannonball it means failed ... if developers missed math class: MORE THAN 3 is 4th cannonball
