Definetly slower paced then the previous Ether Wars. Fans of tower games may like this, but for those of use who perfer piloting one soldier with a who war around us, this is a bit disappointing.

Couldn't you have made Ether Wars 2 instead? Everyone liked the idea with you being one ship, having automatic allies and enemies, the screen vibrating back and forth with every explosion. We already have a TON of games like this, give us the same style gameplay as Ether Wars 2!!!!

This reminds me of enigmata stellar war. If you're going to make an ether game that includes space, I suggest doing it like that game, it did it right. It's first 2 games were vertical sidescrolling shooters that went to a space tower defense, and let me tell you, it was great. I reccomend trying to make your game similar to it's gameplay, but maybe a bit different, like add a hero character.

easy way to beat it without even having upgrades: Use bomb towers, upgrade them to radiation towers. eventually get 3 defense towers, one for each "section" around your base, and then just keep getting more radiation towers and upgrading your bomb towers. I lost one or two towers at the beginning, and didn't struggle at all with later levels with this strategy. + to keep alive if you wanna beat this game easily

Give it a 4/5. It's a good game if you like tower defenses, but I didn't last long enough because I'm not a huge fan of these tower defense games...or at least most games that sorta put you in danger if you do ANYTHING wrong. I get like choked up inside. :X

Having come back to this game, again, after not having played it for a while, I can't imagine why I ever thought this was a good game. The turret and ether limitations make the game far too difficult to be enjoyable. 2/5

In my opinion, this game is lacking 1 thing, ships, in the origional ether game, everything was moving, everywhere, and in the second ether game, you had your own helpers, that would be everywhere, like a universal force of help, but this is simply enemys that barely think about there movement, and towers that sit and defeat the "offensive" feel of ether. So in simple, this TD is too much of a TD.

very pretty game, and i like the spiral concept. however, it seems pretty narrow-scope. would be good to make the mobs change direction some levels, or maybe have some going both directions. also, 20 waves is pretty limited for anything in the TD genre. i'd like to see more modes/towers/waves, and i agree it needs a zoom capability and/or more of the map displayed at once; a speed function is another standard of TD's that is missing here.

I just have a few things that to say...
(1. Campaign.
(2. Spawn towers that build ships when enemies get close enough.
(3. Make upgrades specialize towers more like instead of the plasma upgrade turn into an area of effect tower give it a poison effect until you upgrade it again.
(4. Upgrades for your base like an improved ether extractor and a manual turret or missile launcher.
(5. Bosses every 10 waves like the one in Ether War.
(6. More unlockables like a free play with infinite ether.
+ if you agree!!!

Fun. I only have two suggestions. One, lasers don't seem to be much use. Two, it would be cool if there was an infinite wave mode. Only playing 20 waves isn't fun for long. Other than that it was nice.

Not as good as your other games, gets boring fast and is unbalanced. Micro-managing defense turrets is overpowered (rebuilding free turrets after they explode). Needs better balanced weapons, for now i'm overly depending on radiation modded bombers with free defense turrets

Another problem with this game is that it doesn't encourage you to be creative with your towers. Slow down enemies for bomb turrets? Surround station with warp upgraded slow turrets? No, the way to win is basically to use all laser turrets and one defense turret. Otherwise there will always be a stage that can get through your clever defense setup.
It isn't fun to use one tower the entire game. And, of course, once did that I had enough credits for all the upgrades which i probably won't bother trying out now. More upgrades, cheaper upgrades, a "heads up" on what is coming next so you don't have to memorize what the next waves are going to be....These are a few of my favorite things...

I was excited for this game =/ the tutorial was okayyy but was then bored by the actual game. It was no differant than the tutorial and added nothing new, exciting or captivating. I played through a full game just to see if it got better but was dissapointed. I like this series though and hope to see this instalment of it developed further. Possibly a more in depth upgrade system that adds more strategy, some kinda of campaign planet to planet, achievements that make you better, making the trurret guns move to track enemy's?

its sad like all of you sad abow. i have 1 more thing. the waves are totally random if you loose 1 you cant improve your strategy because next time there are totally different waves. that sucks i mean give us a chance to improve the strategy

1/5, since you can do better. I'd be delighted to see any of these new enemies in your previous games. Main killer here is lack of a starship, fast forward button, and allied starships.

Know what I think would make a great Ether game. A 6 player online Ether, with one person as the base, making the allied ships, with having 50 orbs come at the base at once. Plus if you agree this would be cool :3

I think there is a great concept in here, but I also didn't get pulled in. I feel like you left out some of the better parts of shooters and TD games, so the hybrid doesn't satisfy as either. One of my problems was the view range -- I'm zoomed in too close to really see what's going on (the base takes up more than 1/10 of the screen, but that's what I usually stay centered on). If I'm watching the radar screen the whole game, what's the point of the pretty graphics? If there is no turret, no aiming or clicking, I need to feel like it's more of a TD game -- need to see the enemy swirling in closer and closer while placing defenses in their path, or maybe even trying to nudge/alter their trajectory. To feel like I'm managing a battlefield. Or: If I was trying to aim at those spiraling motes and shoot them down while guarding my base, that would be a shooter. As it is, I'm not doing either. So I, too, lost interest.
