Maybe more of a challenge, the first ether game was actually kind of hard. In some circumstances I'd lose, this game I beat every time without even thinking. Get a speed up button, more upgrades, more towers, and mostly more skills. 3/5

Sometimes a completely different direction is a good thing but the mechanics in this game are too simple and a little unpolished.

It's better if you make the path of an enemy a straight lane in 1 spawning point rather than a circle path that spawns anywhere far from the base.

i like them game in general, what annoys me though - and that is a fault many games like this have - is the missing grid...it is quite hard to position the towers perfectly aligned...otherwise nice one

This is depressing. I've been a fan of the series up 'till now. No way to repair turrets, no upgradable range for combat turrets, and an incredibly boring lack of variety. A prime example of mediocrity.

About 30 minutes or so of play value. 2/5 Strategy: build a group with 1 of everything on each side. Build lasers to the counterclockwise of your groups. Towers cost nothing so you can lose as many as you want while you level up your main towers. Nukes work well. Had 4 nuke towers by the end, and I still had 9 nukes left over. I would like to see all of the gun's range increased by about double so that you could move them further away from your main base. We have all this area, and we only use a tiny bit effectively!! And you have to wait so long for the enemies to come to you! I think that it would be a lot better if the game was zoomed out quite a bit too, you can't see very much of the play screen. Needs way more unlockables. 4 with only 1 good one isn't cutting it. And different colored backgrounds isn't really enticing me to want to play this lesson in drudgery again. The tutorial? Don't need it... would have figured this out in half a second.

i'mm liking it so far, only a few requests
1. turn off music, leave on sound effects. (i dont know why people put music in games really... i usuallly turn it off first chance i get...)
2. speed up
3. i'm really wanting to be able to zoom OUT

first i couldnt remember where i heard the name "Ether" before... then i read the comments and "oh yeah, Ether War!" and then i thought this was actually good... you could at LEAST of the LEAST of the LEAST have put a manual turret to actually make the player PLAY the game instead of just staring at it.... and made it more like Ether War with a Station with Platforms you build on... and put something so you knew wich Grid you were clicking at instead of a little to the side of it so you put up a Turret the wrong place... and then you couldve added some kind of information for the turrets, like the VERY BASIC thing.. i dont know if you heard about it, but some games put in some information about how much the Turret and Upgrades COST, so you spare the player the confusion of mathing it out themselfs....

really? are we going to turn all GOOD SHOOTERS into defense games? all kong is now is stupid puzzles and defense games.

I like it as an idle game like a knights tale. You can start the wave,do something else for a while until its over, upgrade and buy new turrets, and then come back do it all over. Its not to difficult so you really dont have to worry about dying while your away if you have just a few well placed towers

The game is good, great idea, but you should make a speed button, maybe speed x 2, x 3 or x 3´5. More variation in skills and towers and improove the upgrade system. If you do it the game will be much better, and i think you can make a splendid game ^^

Probably the reason that I don't like this is because, 1: It isn't really a tower defense. You can't maze, or do anything. You just lay towers down. And 2: It isn't an ether game. Or i don't think it is, it's just, like I said, laying towers down.

This is a game you want to like because of the sound and graphics; unfortunately the game play fails on a number of reasons. The game is way to slow as the enemies slowly spiral inwards. Then your towers don't regenerate fast enough because they take damage as the enemies either shoot them or explodes and damage all your towers in the blast radius. It is disheartening to have a high leveled tower get blown to bits for destroying the enemy. This can't be help since your town range is limited and almost always inside the enemy blast radius. The second tower you have is pointless, the bomber can not hit fast enemy units, it shoot and the fast enemies have flown outside it's area effect. Not enough upgrades or tower choices. It's a basic TD game disguised with great graphics, I would rather have a great TD game with basic graphics.

Stylish music and graphics, nonexistent gameplay. Watching the enemies spiral in is like watching your life swirl down the toilet.
