i just finished ether on the suns second upgrade! that was fast for me.. did it with 3rd cannon up
2nd engine
2ndshield
and smart missle and triple shot!!!! Also the pathetic level 2 allies

I did something that you would only do for fun
First: Maxed out allies (allies destroyed enimies)
Second: Maxed out cannon (cannon destroyed suns)
Third: Maxed out sheild (sheild allowed me to run through the core without gettin killed)
Fourth:Maxed out Engine (engine let me cathch up to suns
With this I systematicaly destroyed all suns.

There are 2 ways to get ether fast, one is to look for where your base is under the most attack, the other is more suicidal... fly to the center of the enemy and spawn kill

The game is really long, but in this case thats a good thing. It was really fun to play - felt almost exactly like Star Fox. 5 star!

save up to 120, then get the smart missles. they will let you kill other stuff really fast to get more green balls. then upgrade your cannon twice, so that you have the green laser. then save upgrade your shield once, if you need to. save up for 120 again and get the triple shot. then upgrade cannon more, shield more, and engine. while doing the last upgrades, start working on the yellow suns.

Personally I don't think the shield upgrade is really necessary. Was able to beat it without upgrading shield once. Engine did need a couple upgrades and cannon was maxed lol. 29008 I believe was my score that game.

This game sucks! Points for the action, points for the ability to upgrade to nasty weapons.. But whatehell the f***ing cannon ain't shooting were I'm aiming and the ship doesn't steer were I want to go when enemies starts to rank up :(((
