Finished the game according to the comment to focus attack on the yellow orbs and upgrade weapons and shields. I put a little into engines also to strafe better

Orbit around the enemy ship. It stops the enemy from destroying the space station, and it gets you a lot of ether. Save for the secondary weapons if you can't aim very well. Auto targeting missiles, secondary cannons, and triple shot really helps.

Kind of a short war story where you are put right into the action without much to say. That's quite unusual, but it feels cool. I enjoyed this one. It's definitely worth getting Badge of the Day.

if you were a microscopic being in a space ship and shooting things that exploded i wonder is this how they make fire works

are you freaking serious? worst game in months. die constantly, can't hit crap even with the wave gun. ether barely trickles in while the enemy constantly upgrades. so much background crap you can barely see what you're doing. every upgrade is insufficient. christ, i don't suck at shooters but i ain't spending a hour just trying to figure out what special trick it takes to beat the first f**king level here

The 2-Red Orbs is your worst enemy, until says "the enemy is upgraded." When all you can't guard (goofing around) or can't destroying the enemy empire, the game will done about 6 minutes with thoes pesky 2-orb things.

SUCH A GREAT GAME!!! CARRY ON MAKING GAMES WITH THIS MANY ENEMIES VERSE THIS MANY ALLIES!!!! SERIOUSLY THIS IS SUCH A GREAT GAME, WISH THERE WERE MORE BATTLES OR THERE WAS A SEQUEL ;D (only realised now that i had CAPS on) well good luck Kajenx ;)

Fun game, wish it was longer, or had more battles. I like that the enemy can upgrade itself. Too many games become stale when the opponents are stagnant. Well done.

Important tip: Always stand between the Bloodmother and the ship and fire towards the bloodmother, benefits: The enemy units will concentrate on you and deal minimum damage to the ship, the allies will follow you and help get rid of the enemy units. Then you will get enough Ether, upgrade your cannons as much as possible, and then your shield. Then get the smart missiles as early as possible, they will help you get more ether, you would also want to buy triple shot and upgrade the cannons further. You will be strong enough, attack each of the yellow orbs alone until none are left, then you will be able to attack the Bloodmother, a few hits and BAM, victory is yours! Keep this alive, and have fun! PS: I loved this game, 5/5!

"Particles - low" option is absolutely not low. I need the "particles - none" mode to even try this game without pain in my eyes.

The particle effects even on low make this game very difficult to follow. The green orbs.. and then you have big green orbs to shoot? WHAT? Ugh.

I was never enjoyed a game like this. The animation was really fluid (at last for my computer) and a really nice balancing with the upgrades and the enemys. It was really intensive at the beginning but with a triple shot and a good defence with the drones the game is done. This developer games never disappointed me, they are just awesome. 5 stars all deserved even this time.

good game, but like people said: very difficult in the beginning. Also, once you have the right strategy it becomes very monotone. If you ever make a 2nd game, maybe throw in more upgrades, maybe levels and new bosses that require different tactics? apart from the above points the game was very fun, and ran really good. 4/5

The trick is to play aggressive and never sit at your base. Hang just outside of the enemy base and always keep moving. Get use to shooting in the opposite direction you are moving since the enemy will chase you. Once you get use to the game, you can beat it before the enemy hits their final upgrade. What I did without dying was upgrade my cannon > allied units > cannon twice more (enemy will probably get their first upgrade after this if you are fast enough) > triple shot > max cannon > max engine (otherwise you can't chase down the yellow orbs). If you ever die you can upgrade shields but cannon should be first so you can farm the enemies easily before they upgrade. They really can't destroy you unless you stay still or sit inside the enemy base letting the yellow orbs hit you.

This game really needs a sequel. Here we are 8 years later and it is still an enjoyable game. Mechanics are solid, controls responsive, doesn't have a memory leak as far as I can tell... Please make a sequel.

Having a hard time leveling up?
PROTIP: Be Offensive. Be Aggressive. Base defense is how you lose. (also upgrade your cannons first)

How could Kong think this BoD is an "easy" one? The spaceship in this game didn't appear to hit much, the cannons on the HQ were doing most of the work until the enemy upgraded. RIP me.

I hope Kajenx makes a new one some day. Different 'major' enemies, different formations, different initial twists at start, different ships to fly. This one has the potential for a lot of extra content and challenges!

Wow. That's what the games should be like. I mean, at first it seemed impossible, and it was hard because of fast pace and I usually missed every freaking shot at the beginning. But when I finished it, I feel thet "OH MY GOD I DID IT" feeling, the joy of achieving something hard. It's amazing.

Strat: Kill enemy units until you can upgrade your cannons and shield once, then just attack the yellow orbs on the outer ring and work inward, upgrading as you do so, the enemy units will focus you instead of your base.
