Good game. Fast pace. A bit difficult first time you play it, until you figure out what to do.
Go attack mode. Dont hold back and defend. Upgrade gun and shield first, with allies being upgraded when you have spare.
When you can hold your own between your base and theirs, start upgrading trippleshot, side cannons, missiles and the big shield.
At this point, you should almoust be imposible to kill, and then you can start destroying their base.
Engine is a must at that point. They fly faster and faster, and regen really fast. So upgrade engine, and focus one down at a time.
You cant hurt the red sun, until all the yellow are gone.

this is the laggiest game i have ever played no matter what pc i play it on, i cant even finish it because when i try to kill the giant yellow ones the game lags and my ship magically explodes

Strategy that works for me:
1)Get in front of one of the enemies orbs and shoot back at it until its gone. Aim to be taking them out right from the beginning.
2)Focus on weapons initially (homing missiles are great, as is the triple shot, the secondary canons not so much) and then engines when the orbs circle too tight for you to keep up.
3) Keep your allied units at least as upgraded as the enemy, they (not you) will defend your base.
4) Take the fight to the enemy and be aggressive!

IMO this game is too hard, I played 4 times, I died 4 times, either my strategies are stupid or this game is stupid. Until somebody posts a strategy guide this game gets a 1/5

This game runs very smoothly for having so much going on at once. I've experienced many games here on Kong where they'ed have half as much stuff going on, but lag profusely.

an enemy boss AND my base health health bar would be nice.
Once all ship upgrades are gotten, how about some base upgrades - like shielding, engineers (for repairs), better weapons.

Upgrade ally to the max first (along with the cannon), they by themselves are enough to defend the space station, at least it worked for me.

Time Bonus? I don't think anyone would like to finish it as fast as he can. It was so amazing that i wanted to play it AS LONG AS I COULD.

Tip, whenever the AI upgrades, upgrade your allies, it helps keep them from swarming the station, also provide distractions while you beat on the Yellow Orbs

I didnt like how i didnt get enough time to purchase evey upgrade by the time i beat the game, but great game and soemthing i could see being on sale as a indie game realease

EPIC game, last few minutes were intense. I suggest getting all the lower level upgrades first ( 120 ) and be aggressive to upgrade quick. Rated 5*'s

Awesome game, good as EPIC as well and a 5/5 for it.I really congrats for your hard work on making the game. Rate + if youre hoping for another Ether war.

I absolutely love the style of this game, the intense game play, the challenge to adapt, the action-packed adventures of the box with cannon that obliterates colourful rotating hostile balls of whatever in spectacular firework-like explosions while flying at high-velocity in the void of space are always entertaining. even without mutch of a storyline :p

One of the things that make this game rare is that you actually have an army helping you; it's not just you.
Not often I come back to play a game several times. Good job.

best strategy is to harass where the main enemy are, it will make it attack / chase you, you get more point and faster upgrade when you shot those down, and it will attack your space station less.

This is nice but it's missing some essential details. Why no health meter for the station? Why does it print three pages of instructions every time you start the game? Why does it tell me to press space to clear those instructions, when that's the pause key, so it immediately pauses the game? Why does it forget the graphics settings at the end of each game?

and so the humans survived.... until they all died from skin cancer from the exposure to the super novae after defeating whatever the heck it was they killed

ennemies too fast to upgrade, ship upgrade too expensive and too slowly, station impossible to defend, game impossible to beat, this is a big crap.
good music and good graphics are useless if the game is unplayable.
