well as far as all this starter card stuff goes, I think that if you can't choose the starter cards again ppl are going to end up with a bunch of duplicate cards...

good game concept... one thing i noticed is that some skills stack and others don't...also, when i switched cards upon dying, the card moved up a little and stayed that way for the whole match...

NorthernPolarity- EVEN against Helene, Rumiko can be extremely competitive, whereas she slaughters powerful ranged units like Andro for free.
The 40 energy cost for the shuriken barrage is incredibly low, the innate ability is tremendous, and she has great defense, and very high health for having so many other good ninja moves (Ninja Port, Poison Dart)
I think she's a bit overpowered, and should be toned down.

The problem with picking the starter cards is that you don't know the game when you pick cards. So most people will choose cards which they soon want to change against some other cards. Maybe you could make it that one can pick new starter cards once a month or so with the first pick not counting.

gm of souls is glitchy.. if u use it and u switch out with the card that uses it.. u lose the ability you earned.. "or if u kill enemy after u siwtch card out using the card with gem of souls.. u dont get abilities

Rumiko isn't overpowered... She beats some ranged characters because every character counters other characters. If you're that concerned about her, use breastplate on andromeda. Have you seen Rumiko vs Helene? It's not a pretty sight.

Rumiko seems overpowered. 50% chance of dodging an intercept is ridiculously high (especially with the powder), she's a mortal lock to beat Andro and other powerful ranged units, and is decent up close, too.

It would be cool if this game randomised the characters, items and moves available to the player like most card games do. I imagine completely reworking the system is out of the question at this point, but future updates could include some sort of 'deck' of spells or something that could be drawn from. The player could keep a hand of spell cards and choose to use them by paying some cost - perhaps energy from an active character of the appropriate color, or skipping a turn of character action and energy regen?

Something wrong with the % chances, played a game now where the Andromeda 97% trueshot missed for both me and my opponent twice in 4 shots, thats extremely unlikely so a bit suspicious about it.

Had a match where Marquis took a hit which killed him simultaneously as he healed 20. The result: game forced Marquis to switch out, left him as a dead character in the deck, but had him continue to heal. I think he had 44 life or something when I checked.
You can have death be instant, or you can have it be delayed until after healing, I think either option is pretty much fine. But if death is instant, as it seems now, then you should make sure the rest of the game (healing effects) treat it that way.

Had another "ko" situation today, where both players were punished for breaking out of a cycle that didn't hurt anyone.
Once two close range fighters get distance and start intercepting each round, the player that breaks the pattern either loses a bunch of energy, or gets hit in the face. Meanwhile, the game never ends. Some items can make it asymmetric, but it still happens from time to time.

Yes clearly dealing 20 damage for 100 energy against an opponent who doesn't switch or change ranges is clearly broken. =/

ah, forget to mention, I wish I could reselect the 3 bonus cards. I think most players have no idea which card is better when combining the card the have.

actualy Creek and Nithos theres lag that MAKES both players do that if that happens on match chat (or pms) ask them if the light on the chat screen is red bcuz when it is that happns and also yellow causes sum lag but the green lie does nutn wrong

Helenes Shield Bash is to overpowered, it need to be slower or has some kind of hit rate... Like 50-60% or something like that.

I've played a few players now that take all the available time for EVERY turn, I think this is a strategy to get people to forfeit because it is boring as hell. Please do something to discourage super slow games.

The reason people want to repick their three starting cards is simple: There is a tutorial in the game, This is great! It educates people. the problem is that Choosing the three starting cards is a selection that should be based on knowledge. And you cant play the tutorial untill you've chosen the three cards. Ok, so you might say: But read up on the game before choosing the cards! Ok, but then what is the purpose of the tutorial? Catch 22.

Great game! 4/5 though, because of 95% hit chances. This 5% has made me lose winning games too many times. I think that it should be changed from 95 to 99%.

Helene is good when you don't know how to fight her.... When I started playing I've feared her, now I consider her an easy kill... You just have to be cautious and know how to play against her

I can't see how eye of tiger with 95% acc can miss more times than popo's 60% slingshot whilst popo has minus 40% aswell.

Helene was a bit too strong before she was nerfed. She had her hitpoints reduced and her best attack uses more energy now than she did a few patches ago. Now I find her to be quite balanced. She is strong in her specialized areas, but not too hard to beat unless your deck is overly specialized in physical attacks which makes your deck too situational to win consistently.
