I'm getting frustrated with this card winning system i have 15 cards and i have 50 wins and i have won 0 cards. in beta testing had like 60 wins and 2 cards did they lower the chance for a card or what?

Find a buddy, play only private games against him/her, alternate forfeiting right away, repeat until all cards are gotten.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The chance is based on the number of cards you have. For people with just a few cards or even no cards, winning three in a row might be very likely.

@ Scion: No I don't think that's luck. There's probably 400 people like you, and the rest get cards like every 30th game. The differences fall into a curved pattern; the game has a screwed up card-earning formula.

Remember Items are color based... if the item has a colored background besides grey then you can only equip it with a character of the same color group.

I agree with hedhunter. I think that a person vs person practice area would be a great idea. Recently, I have gotten a quite a few cards in a short time and I would like to test them out to see if they are better than my current team.

i just recently completed the newest challenge for the Blood Vial Card... when i try to combine it with another one of my cards, add it to a deck, i cant... its weird

There is no such thing as luck in this game. Even though sometimes I say my opponents are lucky, my statements are false. Because this is a program, there has to be a mathematical algorithm to determine miss/ crit hit rates. If you aren't able to take on the stun your opponent gave you, then you either suck or you were doomed from the start (i.e. you didn't use the right strategy, or you missed that intercept). I know it sounds radical but this is the truth.

Don't get me wrong, i love the bot. I play randoms against it all the time and discover interesting combinations that i wouldn't have found on my own. But a real player could also help me see if that was actually a really good team/item combo, or just decent
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
One thing which I would really like to see added is the ability so "scrimage" a friend. like, if you want to try out a deck against someone a lot smarter than a bot. These matches wouldn't count for your record nor could you win cards, but it would also allow new players to gain some real practice. there would definately be a limit on the number, say 5 per week or something. but often i want to try a new combination, and the bot just isn't up to a real test. I dominate the Bot and get thrashed when I take it out to the real world. I know its difficult at best to upgrade A.I. to a human level, especially without letting it peek sometimes at what attacks you will use, but what do you think Kongrgate?

It takes practice. Its not like ur gonna play one game and be amazing. However, its very addicting. The pros completely outweigh the cons.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Exquisite--the higher your opponent is above your level, the smaller the penalty for loosing. It shouldn't affect your rank much, and you'll land a fairer fight eventually. Alternatively, you could just play unranked matches until you get better.

Wdf I just tried to play a guy and I pressed ready and i found he was taking to long so i pressed leave and as soon as I did that the match started and i lost
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If this game is 80% luck, how come you see the same five guys at the top of the rank leaderboard every day? What, are they the luckiest guys in Vegas?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@adamskinner
people cant leave a ranked match even if they see you have a high level. There is no option to leave they either play or forfiet.

luck has little do do with this, it all about predicting what your enemy is going to do, and then you counter it, if your good, you predict what your enemy predicts your going to do, cna counter his counter, i think diya is wrong, if u have the shamen, and there not new the the game, msot probaly there going to get to a far range, or switch out, its easy to counter both of those moves, i think kongai isn't terribly hard, and diya your wrong about another thing, what your oppenent is going to do isn't luck because your oppenent is human, and what he is going to do is based off on what he thinks your going to do, no luck there, the only luck in the game is, hit rates, crit rates, and getting a card, that preety much it,
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
As I've gotten higher in level, the incidence of people seeing my level and leaving the game that we were automatched for is quite high. It actually happens most of the time; perhaps 70-80%.
I'd like the ability to have anonymous matches where "rank" isn't considered.

Please, I mean *please* remove the misses from this game. They add *nothing* they just detract fun both when you win because of a miss and when you lose and end a well played match in silly frustration.

What can I do with this card?
You can use this card to unlock Mindreader's Chalice in Kongregate's collectible card game, which will be released later this year. Click here to read more about it.

It does not matter what cards you ahve pick good starters and it is over really i lost my 1st 2 games getting used to my deck the rest i have won
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
my main problem with what diya said was "unless you have some good cards" the cards are all well-balanced.... tell me which ones are bad and ill throw em in my deck just to check em out. thanks
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I highly disagree with diya you can see your enemys cards and see there attacks and if ur close and he has a high attack for close and if there almost dead chances are theyre going to change(i dont know why tho there still going to die) so it is just figuring it out the give you everything to figure it out

Suggestion for starter cards: If you have a starter which you subsequently win from a challenge, you should be allowed to reselect that starter.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Shure there is luck involed a 4 year old could jsut click buttons for moves like i bet half of you are doing that agree with Diya. Or you could think what your oppenent is going to do next. Half the time it is what you would do.
I can guess after i made my move if my oppent is switching 90% of the time im right.
Just use your brain I know its a game i dont want to think. Its strategy also. You are not playing a computer so you know every move after yu play him 5-6 times.
It is lucky to get a card. Thats good if we all can get cards every 1-3 wins then we will all ahve the same cards and it will be like p[laying a fricken computer.

Since you guys are so obsessed over Diya: it's like poker. Poker's mostly luck too, but that doesn't mean there's no strategy involved. The thing is, you have to make the optimal best move possible based on your current situation, just like in poker, to profit. This is because luck ultimately evens itself out, and with a dominant strategy you will be able to come out tops. You don't neccessarily have to have the best of luck to be top in poker, though it's always better to have luck on your side.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Diya is stupid and wrong. If you got shot in real life, wouldnt you want go to the hospital or be random and have a party?
You probably lost.
Is it luck that you wrote your comment?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there are many ways to take the luck element out of the game, test out your opponent, see how he or she reacts when presented with certain options, try to chat with them to figure out what kind of person they are.
