Move - there seems to be a double penalty/reward for games won by forfeit. I wish this would go away, but that may be the cause of your odd win/loss ratio.

buggy connections today...
on a constructive note: Swithcing out before the opponent attacks seems an arbirtrary decision (or a bug). Are there any rules that state some characters are faster than others when they switch out? (I know that some attacks hit regardless, but that isn't what I'm referring to here.)

When you click "Host Game" you can only pick 3- or 5-card games... I wish there was a cancel button.

I agree with Jpal and also, is anyone else getting a bunch of connection problems throughout the game or is my internet just acting up today?

Also, single player only does 5 card games currently. I'm sure it's probably in the making, but a 3 card single player would be great too.
Final thing - you currently have no easy way to find out your win/loss stats. It would be nice to have a stats button somewhere on the main page.

I don't know if this is getting worked on our not, but when a move is made the HP and energy bars change accordingly to the move that was made but the numbers representing the bars don't update until much later. It would be nice if the numbers changed as the bars did rather than much later.

i wouldnt want people observing my matches thanks. when the game begins, you're opponents decked chars are question marks for a reason. also, everyone has a play style. sure, we'd prolly play enough before hand for us to learn each other's habits but, i'd like to keep as much to myself as possible. with regards to items / abilities not doing as they say, they've been nerfed or changed. look in the past comments to find the web address of sirlin's page that shows what changes are in effect and which are pending.

Question: Is Mistress Command supposed to trigger the Leafy Trap (and take 45 dam)?? I think of the Mistress Command as a self buff NOT a physical attack. Wasn't sure if this was intended or not.

Ah, minus Helene's Enchant Weapon and moves like that shouldnt trigger the leafy trap. I figure you guys knew what i meant, but i know someone will be anal, so anyway ... :(

As far as im concerned, if its a physical combat move, it should trigger leafy trap. All Ashi and Helene's moves, all but Mistress' Command for Zina, and other similar things. Doesnt matter if its light or dark attribute, it ain't magic its a body moving and therefore tripping a trap via physical motion. But nobody really cares about this kinda stuff anyway so why do i bother?

Sure don't mean to piss anyone off, but my phylactery fires 3 times in a row, and i think rumiko 95% attack failed more than it should... maybe just my good/bad luck day, but could also be a biased RNG

Higashi's sweep gets you 5 energy with the scroll of inner focus item equipped, not sure if its a bug or a feature. Gosh this game is great!

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but when I use the Light Enchant Weapon thing on Anex et al, Leafy Trap still effects them.

I've had a problem when I only had a close combat character left, and the opponent only had a long range attack character left. And we both had low health, and didn't want to lose. So maybe a tie request button. if something like that happens.

Amaya's shadow curse seems to be the only "hit all" attack that can be canceled if the opponent switches out. Is this intentional?

Its very fun but i would like to have a change to get the cards i missed. Maybe like badges for the game are the cards so if you missed a challenge you could still get the card but make them very hard to get.

Congrats for the nice work to the developers and designers.
The GUI could hardy have been made better but I miss a conceal button.
I would also suggest to change some gameplay details. The first one is that when you get hit or absorb life (a life amount change during an attack) the lifebars get updated instantly, not waiting for the whole action to finish. The second is that some effects should not be stackable. I would make some debuffs/buffs to restart the lasting effect time rather than beeing applied again over the same active spell.

If your move is faster than the enemies move and it causes parylization then not only does the enemies move not work, they are also paralyzed for the next turn. So the attack should state that or something.

overall I like it, but there should be a story mode for it. and the time between turns and attacks is long enough to make it get a bit slow and boring.

I thought it hit because there was no message to the contrary, but you're right that I didn't actually check the log. If there's no message on a miss, there ought to be.

While I was impressed overall by the game-play, there were numerous buggy things, or logical errors. If you have a healing effect active and win the game, the effect takes place even though it no longer matters. While it may just be the RNG, I had instances of 95% accurate attacks missing three times in a row. Not dodged, just miss. Logic error?

I don't know if anybody is suggesting this: of they are, don't sue me. I think a possible idea is a three person or more game. I think this would be really fun. It gives more options. Although it would be hard to animate a third person in there... Maybe in the backround?

For some reason Ancestral Curse didn't lower Phoebe's physical defense when she was wearing the breastplate (It stayed at its enhanced level).
