Stats, and other info.
Charlie_Frank said to me, "where can one see his own stats?"
I replied, "ask someone to tell you them when you host."
Charlie_Frank replied, "that hard."
Kongregate, please make it easier for us to see our win:loss ratio. As a rule, the more info available without having to click or really do anything but look at the current screen, the better. It's more intuitive, and allows you to think faster, because you don't have to think "to get X info, I have to do Y first, then I'll see X info."

@master54100:
But the description says all blade attacks are light magic. So it should change the attack type to light magic. Or do i missunderstand this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
yeah ive checked now no bug enchant blade is the light attack the attack that follows is boosted buy it but the core attack is still melee
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
enchant blade makes you stronger it do sent make your attacks light type should be the same type as always no bug unless sword slash is light not sure from memory.

I used Helenes Enchant Blade and then Sword Slash which had the light magic icon against Tafari the Trapper. So this should not have triggerd the leafy trap because it was a light magic attack but it did. I guess this is a bug.

tips for the beta, definitely needs a better way of getting cards. maybe a currency system and a shop to buy them at, with the prize ones being promotional and not in the shop. And with that a way to trade/buy/sell cards to other players.
I like the gameplay system, well done.

I know this just deals witht he looks, however, so much effort went into the beautiful look of the game (and i mean it is absolutley gorgeous) that the moves animation detracts from it

I agree with chiablo's comments on crits....I have hit more crits on normal moves than i have on moves that have "high percentage to crit"

I'm beta second day, but now I think, it's great game. One thing, what I hate, it's not randomly hits;/ If my attack hits 42, then in next round, it'll hit 42 too...
It's a good game, but you must fix some bugs, and game-play-bugs, before you'll release that game.

I see that this game will become a top hit, but one thing that you should change is the speed. Thats the only bad thing about it, that one move takes like a minute because the other guy takes forever to decide... well in practice he does
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Kasha thats not so true. If you actually use them how they are meant to be, you would know not to use them right off the bat. That would just result in you getting owned. And dont depend on crits because they don't happen often even with buffs. But overall this game is awesome. It will be even better after its opened to all of the public to play. And I can't wait to see what new cards they will come out with untill then!

I didn't think this was going to be as much of a mind game as it was hyped up to be, but after playing it I see that it really is. wow.

Yeah...We should get a practice match with a basic deck before we pick our starter cards. Perhaps a quick walkthrough of deck construction. I picked a bunch of AMAZING sounding item cards, only to find I didn't have any characters that could use them.

Minor grapics glitch: When using Marquis Le Morte's Blood Burn against Rumiko at close range, the bubble-like graphics appeared behind her--where she would have been at far range.

"Stat-lowering effects" (as shown on the Origami Crane card) currently don't count speed debuffs. Seems logical to me that that should count. This might, however, introduce some slight balance problems with high-speed ninjas.

All of the vampires seem to be really weak and relatively useless...Their skills all cost too much energy, and as a result, they all lost many turns to a lack of energy. Also, those crit raising attacks/items don't seem to do anything...I havn't gotten a crit yet =[

90% do sent mean you only miss 1 every 10 shots....
you might miss 10 in a row then get the 900 in a row (not likely) and aside from that are yo remembering effects and stuff?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game in general is a bit slow.... otherway, pretty good game for a beta.... it has a lot of potential... (i dont know if it already exist, but a ask for a tie would be great in multi...) 4/5 for now, 5/5 when its finished!!!

need a way to force opponent to do something.. i have fought a few that click fight and seem to walk away from comp to make me giveup and let them win

To Move:
I think Jade Statue doesn't work for anyone, it's a bug. So the card's ability will be changed. See:

Crits seem to have a really really low chance of happening. I have an attack that has a "high chance of crit" and I equip the sharpening stone which adds +20% crit.
I've used the attack about 30 times now and no crit.

Helene's shield bash seems a little overpowered. 95% hit and 100% stopping the enemy's attack with 8 speed? It might be better if the proc was lowered so it didn't proc every time it hit.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I cant really see (other than range dancing) any decent counter to Hlene with the +2 speed item using shield bash, any suggestions?
