every time i test the moovie it doesnt fly and i get the same erroe every time

It's hard to read the text in monochrome with the background so strong. Add color for contrast or drop down the opacity, because it ain't workin'.

Is true there are some mistakes on the code, at least is what I think cuz I struggle to work it out, but is also true that you learn more about the code looking for the mistake and testing by trial-error how does it works!!

my ship wouldn't move, i found the problem for me, where is says velocity =10 you must make sure there is no space after the = sign i think, because that fixed the problem for me

The click on text box to copy then paste it to action file did not work for me, but typing it out did, that might be some people's problem

It's good, and the sort of thing I looked for and couldn't find when I began flash. But I have a few things I would like to clarify.
Why make a ship.as file when you could just insert it into the frame with a ship.onEnterFrame = function()?
And why is everyone saying "oh why is it AS2?" I don't understand why as3 is so much better than as2, it looks so much harder to use.

as a warning action script is casesensitive also space sensitive
So before everyone goes and gets bent out of shape follow this checklist
1. Make sure what is supposed to be capitalized is capitalized and vice versa
2.Make sure anything under a function or a method is indented properly and there is a ; at the end of the line.
3. Make sure everything is spelled correctly

check if the name of the file is EXACTLY the same that you put in the movie clip, including capital letters.
