Some hatin' going on for reasons I can't fathom! Nice job. Responsive, with good fluidity and nice hit boxes. The character feels potent without being ridiculously over-powered. The delay time to lift-off on jumps feels a little slow. Boss fight felt intense - but once I realized I could air juggle him it was a piece of cake. I'd advise making them too "heavy" to air juggle to up the difficulty of those encounters.
Perhaps you could add an upgrade that boosts character movement speed?

Hell, this game deserves a higher rating! The intro is amazing. I played the Foul mode (the hardest) and the difficulty level is great. It could've been a tiny bit harder maybe, the first 5ish levels weren't that hard... I paid no attention to upgrades until lvl 6, when it became harder. All the unlockable special moves look interesting, but I can barely think about using the basic ones at the right moments lol. I like how you can keep hitting enemies and use special attacks for a while after a level ends, and how enemies do the same when you die xD The gameplay is really fun. I can see the people who made this paid attention to little details that make this game great, ''polished''. 4/5 for me :)

It would be great to have a "I'm standing 1 mm away from blood, drink it!" upgrade. If I swing only one (enemy want to hit me), I go out of the blood-stream. Otherwise this is a good game. (Oh, and I don't upgraded the basic damage, 'couse I couldn't understand the mechanics at first, english isn't my mother language, and these descriptions are a bit confusing)

It seems like way too much crap piled into what amounts to a hack-and-slash game. There are green bars, red bars, white bars, soul points, attacks with the mouse, attacks with keys, attacks with mouse and keys, and then upgrades (which make no sense), and cut scene after cut scene after cut scene ad nauseam. Did I forget to mention the headache inducing music? No? Well, I can simplify this game greatly...Only use the mouse for attack, no upgrades, and calm down on the music. 1 out of 5 is too good a rating for this game.

wow.. the intro itself already has *at least* 3 stars for me, and this is pretty nice for me. Now if the gameplay is nice and smooth and the story follows as well, I will truly be honored to rate the maximum and congratulate you again. Thanks in advance!!

This is a really nice ninja game i played after a long while. But there would be some additional improvements that could be kept in mind for Version 2.0 if any,
1) Avoid Repetitiveness (Game becomes abit repetitive after a period of time, just tweak the gameplay to mix and match with different skill or difficult enemies)
2) Organize the Upgrades (Could use the mechanism of lock until full upgrades before opening the 2nd option)
3) Amazing storyline (Just need to work on organizing the storyline as certain scenes were too long while some were too small)
4) Combo Stack (It becomes too easy to stack thousands of combos using d + space + click, without having to worry about anything else. Makes it too easy and boring)
Altogether, it was a good experience. I would like to suggest the players "Not to skip the storyline", thats one of the important factor if you wish to enjoy the game at its max. Anyways, Goodluck Gamers.

Woah that Game is very nice but its kinda bad rated and i don't understand why. A normal 4 Would i understand but it's actually 3,6 which is really sad, because it is some original game with a nice story.

While I like the game, I hate that I can't use the arrows keys (this messes up anyone who's left handed). Otherwise, it was a lot of fun.

you probably shouldn't have made clicking the attack button for this. that makes sense in similarly styled games where your character has say, a gun, and you actually aim for the mouse cursor, but for a melee attack it doesn't make quite as much sense. upgrade screen needs a bit of work.

Anyone already discover what soul tempest hidden skill is? I think its that dragon head blast foward (*not upward from 10 combo move) but dunno if thats it or other one
unleash gekyu at night.
when soul tempest is at full upgrade, an aoe explosion will unleash when you charge.
shurikens are deflected by the aura charge. ;)

The upgrade system is different and unique, a bit hard to keep track of tho, may confuse the player on the start. I love the intro style and art, all in all this is a great game once you get used to the upgrades.
the original game was supposed to be 3x bigger than this, unfortunately i had to squeeze it down or it will never get finsihed. the upgrades got reduced for only a bit, so yeah it was hard for me to have the players ease into the system. and i thank those who were dedicated enough. like you. thank you!

Awesome game! Love the intro and the menu music. The upgrade screen takes a little getting used to but thats what we should expect from a new game right?
thanks a bunch! yes, this is my very first game as a dev. it undergo a lot of starts and stops. and i felt bad not finishing it. and now i did, the game carried all the flaws i made when i was still a noob dev with a bigger passion than i can create. still, i hope you saw lots of good things and enjoyment despite the game's flaws.

nice style and the game seems fun but I absolutely loathe these small game windows, wish developers would stop forcing their games into such small windows, I can't play like this at my desktop resolution.
please offer a fullscreen mode or allow enlarging the game window.

the upgrade menu is kind of confusing when you see it for the first time but when you learn to understand it it gets easier would like to see an update on the menu though

I have a problem:s i don't regain bp when i slay a enemy even when i am hugging it's corpse while it's spewing it. Did i miss something or is it a bug
when you upgrade the 'Ruby tank', you increase your defense and BP, but you will also need to refil a bigger portion of blood. manage this by upgrading 'scarlet synthesis' or refrain from spamming sword skills.

The survival challenge has no utility, the souls gained are lost upon death. But still a good game. Maybe let us retain the souls gained in a failed level when we do "End mission".

Too repetitive. Every level feels the same. [/br]
No point in actually beating Journeyman levels since simply farming is much more productive..[/br]
Combat is not interesting. I feel it would be much more responsive if you went full keyboard.[/br]
Upgrades are pretty good, but also hard to keep track of.[/br]
Not very challenging, but that's just my personal opinion.

An optional button configuration would be highly appreciated for laptop optimization, especially for left-handed players.

Pretty fun, if you run out of bloodlust all you have to do is hold S and left click and juggle those fools for awhile.

Decent Game, only the upgrade menu is a bit "unorganized". Would like to see easier which skill is already upgraded to which lvl and so on
