The impossible badge is truly impossible. I've been trying for a few days now with no avail. I'm an expert in EBF. I've got all the badges from EBF 3, completed all the chalanges everything but the epic mode in this one is just... too epic. When I saw that over 7 thousand people got the impossible badge I was like WTF? How did they pull it off? Bugs, glitches maybe? Or maybe just pure luck...

My strategy for Final Boss on Normal : Get Matt to equip Soul Eater and have the 30% chance of surviving a lethal attack. For Natalie use Barrier to increase Matt's defence. Matt could use Protect. Natz must have the Angel upgrade, and try to get Matt use Unleash for every turn, other skills if necessary. You will finish the tank fast. If you use Heaven's Gate, then still use Unleash to make all enemies blind. If there is an incoming Shoop Da Whoop beam, get Matt and Natz to defend. Then repeat. I know this isn't a good strategy, but believe me. I use this and I beat Valkirie in less than 20 minutes, and I deal over 45000 damage using Unleash.

Cheat Engine: Use Revive to one who isnt dead. He will get auto-revive. After the Monster attacked, scan 32. Then the monster will attack later again and change the value 24 and click next scan. If they are attacking AGAIN the change to 16. If there is more than ONE address double-click both and click Freeze or Active. Do the same to the other player and every time you die you will come back. EVERYTIME.

This game series is too good. I think they should keep it going with more sequals. Like 4, 5 and 6. I wouldnt be suprised if armored games got a decent chunk of support by supporting this series.

I agree with baturinsky.It is a wise decision to cast revive on Natz.But, when she does die, there's also an upgrade for automatic autolife.So you should get it and not always worry about casting autolife on her.Also, somethings I do alot:
1. Stock up on Water of Life, Ethers, and maybe mist potion.
2. ALWAYS get slime bunny and nolegz upgrades, they help alot.
3. Try to make sure to do things in battle that I want to upgrade.
4. Try to get chemist upgrade, 2x if possible.
5. Try to always get "Survivor", "Angel", "Magic Counter(possibly 2x)", "Counter(Again, possibly 2x)", "Elusive&Sniper", "Mana Leech", And "Immunity(Maybe 2x)".

By the way, these are what I consider the essential abilities for the final battle: [All of the passive attacks], [Bunny!], [Bunny!!!], [Defender], [Venomous]. These abilities minimize damage done to Matt (let Natalie die). Defend every turn and counters and passive attacks will eventually kill the tank.

@blingdadada to prevent such fails, get autolife sometimes by casting revive on an alive guy. always keep 1 in autolife.

To add on longGun's comment: getting Sword Heart (unleash damage +40%) for matz and angel (Randomly Puts You into Autolife Mode) for natz can be an usefull replacement for when you don't have any of the recomended skill bonusses in the list.

This is how I almost died and won on easy:Matt was low hp and mp and so was Natz so I gave her a mystery potion hoping for mp regen but it did 10472 damage so she died. (thats why I never would recomend it) Then I was shot at about 7 times of around 250 damage and I lived but he shot 3 more times. I knew I was dead. Matt had 124 hp. The 3 shots hit him but he was alive with 1 hp left. Then I remembered that I had 30% chance of surviving a lethal attack. (To my calculations thats a 7.5% chance of happening!) I had taken so much damage that I had my Special Attack so I used it and it was just enough to kill him. THAT was an epic battle.Then Matt and Natz become friends with lance at the end.What?

Only thing i don't like about epic mode is getting 1 shotted constantly.
Took the easy way out of the hard mode development, instead of making the AI better, just slap a ton of damage on them and now it's more challenging.

Miniboss Guide on epic/Golem:It has 250K HP, with 4 attacks.1: Occurs when it switches to ice elem.;kills one if he/she is unprotected but if they survive, they take 70+% and it freezes him or her(no problem if you have regen.). 2: Occurs when it switches to fire elem.; rains fireballs dealing 1000 each to both. 3: attack with his ash blade, dealing 6500 to one and lowering magic defence. 4: attack with his ice fist, dealing the same dmg. as the ash blade and lowering defence. The golem can also summon 2 types of helpers. 1 is an Ice bit, which only has a basic attack with the chance to freeze. The other is a fire bit, which self destructs itself on its first turn, dealing 8000 to both! Matt should use only his non-elemental physical attacks(attack, revenge, drain, windslash, and legend) to get the "counter" upgrade. Make Natz use Lucky Star(when there's no helper) and Pulsar(when there is) to get "Astrology" or "Astrology x2" depending on if you did this in the previous wave.

Miniboss Guide on epic/Guardian. His arms have 20K HP each, and he himself has 170K HP. The sword has 2 attacks; one does 4000 to one, while the other deals 7000 to both! The second one is the leading cause of death to unprotected parties. The shield only has a basic attack, dealing 3000 to one. The guardian has three.1:deals 2000 to one, and has a chance to stun. 2: 1000 dmg. shots, mainly targeting one, but some hitting the other. 3: 1200 dmg. missles(3 of them) hitting both. All that has to be done to defeat this thing is to do what LongGun says, then get either NG upgrade for Matt, and elementalist or thunderclap for Natz.

Miniboss Guide on epic/ Kitten Vehicle: It has 60K HP, with 3 attacks. 1: deals 4500 to one.2: deals 3200 to both. 3: deals 4000 to both. Take a one turn break for Matt and have him use "Unleash" with his default sword to blind the boss instead of using Air Strike again(continue to use it after he does this). Have Natz do her usual thing and heal when necessary. You should get the upgrades that LongGun said after this.

There is nothing I can say that hasn't been said. This is truly an epic series. I look forward to more installments (still waiting for EBF4, I wanna see Anna's personality, but Adventure Story was a great game). If I had to pick my single most favorite aspect of this game series, it HAS to, absolutely HAS TO BE the music! HalcFalcon truly knows her (his?) music and rocks socks til the end of time. THIS was the game that brought me to the series, and it was EBF3 that brought me to this site. This game (EBF2) is probably my favorite for core fun, but all the games are equally great. Kudos Kupo, kudos.
