Great game, but the grind is a tad tedious if you die, and you're trying to get the impossible badge, perhaps a checkpoint after the Bone Hydra or right before the boss?

Hasn't anyone noticed the first boss in the original epic battle fantasy is nolegs, yet he teams up with matt and natilie in this one

tip for the final boss if youve followed longguns guide it should be quite easy just get the healing blade and keep using defense for the girl well if she dies normally its not very usefull to bring her back his counter will keep him alive and doing damage so dont need her and saving her normally results in your death

I absolutely despise how you learn skills on here, since there's not enough time to learn what you want and you have to spam a skill 8-10 times to get the unlock for what you want, which is VERY difficult to pull off in some battles, depending on what you have to spam, and yes: 8-10 times you have to use that skill in a span of 1-2 waves, or else you DON'T get the unlock for it. I've tried several times to spam a move 5-8 times, but no, the game will 90% of the time screw you with filler skills in-place of what you want. It is beyond aggravating, especially on Epic Mode.

Er, so is there a way to build the char's stats? I've seen multiple guides on what skills to get, but no one seems to mention what stats you should be leveling for epic mode, anyone want to clue me in?

A very challenging game as well as having spectacular art and music. I especially like that in the first game nolegs was the first boss and yet ended up joining them to take the place of mog
