if you want to beat the hydra make both heads low health and then use some thing that damages both enough and there the last boss is poision then survive

Gah! That damned Duel Dragon Lich! GRAH! The beginning of every battle with him! Both heads call Death, and Death instikills us! Sure this is Epic mode, but I still want a bloody chance! I've even blinded both heads, AND THEY STILL DEATH ME! I will kill him.. them.. so help me gods!

I get that the final boss on the hardest difficulty is SUPPOSED to be hard, but DOUBLE ****ING NUKES?!? REALLY?!?!? It just devolves into a game of chance hoping that either he doesn't summon them or that your auto-airstrike happens to activate at just the right time to give you a chance.

Tips for epic mode:
-focus on defensive level up skills and stats
-when fighting the tank, cast revive on living teammates (to initiate auto-live status) whenever situation available
-matt in 'defend' whenever possible: with physical damage quartered, he is nearly always being able to survive a round, while you damage the tank by counterattack.
With some luck you should be able to finish it. I did it after 5 tries.

Ok, I'll try to explain how I was able to beat the final Boss in Epic Mode: First of all you need to accept one thin --> this fight is the most luck-based boss fight i have seen in my life.. so you might have to try it more then one time :) .. furthermore pray to god that he won't use nukes, i was so lucky to not encounter them and i think thats the only thing why i managed to pull this off! Ok traits you NEED with Matt : aerial support, secret weapon, counter 1x & 2x, ---> Defender defend! Traits you NEED with Natz: Bunny! & Bunny!!!, Astrology 1x & 2x, Counter .. VERY useful traits: Protector P & M, Elusive, Angel, Mighty Mage or Wizard! Again only use Defend with Natz! If you miss to use Defend for only one turn you are most probably dead :) And again PRAY that he won't use nukes .. I hope this'll help you!!

I don't know how well known this is, but it's (sort of) useful (I didn't really use items much besides a max either or life water from time to time, mist potions on that final boss >.>) But you can sell any items you pick up and such for the same price you buy them for. So always spend all your money on checkpoint 1, because on the next check point you can just sell what you didn't use.

I played Epic Battle Fantasy 3 first, so I'm spoiled when it comes to checkpoints. I hate having to replay so much of the game after dying.

...The two dragon skellies are redonkulous...
They can kill you in one turn if you're unfortunate enough if they both use their instant kill attack and you lose instantly... And if you manage to finally kill one of them the other revives it...
How freaking stupid...
