note: the ruins boss is BRUTAL and is next to akron in TOUGHEST ENIMIES list. i found that if you scan the boss or one of the balls, run then repeat, you can account for the weaknesses of each. i found that the barrier and dispel skill were invaluable. give lance etiher the gods hand or heavy claw(gods hand better, since heavy claw gives thunder weaknees)and abuse the air strike abilty. matt should focus on what he does best; slashing the shit out of his target, and natz should take care of healing and the magic caonnon balls. get bomb resistent armor, cannon shots are very painful. use the casual shirt too for pinapple hp bonus.

Oh god. I just defeated the protector. And. Oh god. My Natalie is 2 levels higher than Matt and Lance because she was the only one who survived.

ive played this game on three seperate occasions and each time i saved. Every time I come back to play my saved data is gone....WTF!!!

I think once you finish the game and restart, you should be able to have the option to restart in epic mode with your stats... or maybe give us a chance to level grind like any other RPG

Wait... Does anybody remember that girl (Her name is Curly) that gives you the last mini game? That girl was from a very popular game called "Cave Story". I never knew Matt (A.K.A. kupo707) liked Cave Story.

was epic then when i beat game i checked Keep Experience levels? then i unchecked it thinking that it means you don't have to get exp to level up which got my saying it has infinate rateing stars to me down to 1 star so 1/5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got all the medals, and DAMN, the two fights you've put on the final secret area are AWESOME. even on Normal they are extremely challenging, and my characters are level 37 on normal. Awesome job on making hard fights I hope you can add more of those challenges in future versions of this, or in a EBF4.

the ONE thing that ´pissed me off about in this game was : instant death, so, i had all my chars at full hp , matt and lance were BOTH dommed, (dies in x rounds) and natalie was crited in 1 shot... 11k damage (dragon boss) 2 heads killd me in 1 shot.... argh

@rrk1 the 3 headed dragon is different depending how u fight it, i personaaly take out the healer first with poison and dark. But one of them will heal from poison so don't use gas bomb.

u ho to forge then click the weapon u want to upgrade then if u have the items it calls for u click upgrade. ps you'll know if u dont have the if there is red lining around the items it calls for

just u know bosses are easly taken down if u could make the poison on them reach 9 and just stay alive until they die, if the boss is immune to poison then gl on killing it >w<

An unusual bug: I've gone through the whole game wondering why the character constantly get stuck going in one direction, especially if a key is held between screens. The only thing I can figure out is because I'm using a wireless keyboard. Not the biggest problem, as a tap on the key the group is headed will stop it, but it happens in minigames too like the kitten run which makes it almost impossible to get a medal-worthy score.
