Pretty amazing game but....stuck. Got all the orbs to activate portal but disappeared from inventory. Went back to orb pedestal and its not at the portal OR by the flame hydra :/. Help!

i've started playing on kongregate now since i've used my backup file, but the bug that i've don't deal the dmg that i do to a monster or monsters. like if the monster has 25000hp and i've deal with 1 huge hit or multi like 550000, the monsters loses only 1/3 of it's health... Really anooying sice am so powerfull but can't seem to defeat as it should be :c or do i need to buy the full game to get this happen?

I like the collection of impractically huge swords. I only have one, but I am trying to get the Buster Sword. (No role playing, I want one!) Maybe I can borrow some of Dad's. Then I can use Ragnarok too!

Alright, after a certain thug moved out of the way I found a hidden dark room area, inside of which are some folks who speak in code. After deciphering one of the messages, and double-checking to make sure I had it right, one of the things said was: PIZATE IS REAl. So...is this someone's name or a typo?
Probably shouldn't still be up at 5 am playing this and thinking I can get these right, but a good game will buy on steam once I get the chance.

Great game, gave it 3 star only because final boss is just too op to handle, especially with that planet cutting attack (which kills all but 1 character)...

As one that played since the first game, I must say:
It disappointed me.
Not much new, the graphics are mostly the same,
the movement with "wasd" keys is simply the worst.
I'm not saying it is bad, but for someone who played all of your games in the series, it is not so exciting.

okay so what i'm seeing so far is that this gives me the nostalgia bomb i was so very much hoping that ebf4 would give me. i'll have to go back and replay it to double check my opinion now. regardless, it has a steam page with an affordable price for me so i think i'll finally be able to give kupo my support after all these years. you've made one of my favorite rpg's and my favorite flash game of all time. i'm glad you came back around man, and good luck with your future endeavors. if you make a 6 i'll definitely buy that too.

@Ryanspot The plot is rebooted; same characters, different story. There is little direct connection to the story of the previous games.

Thank you for making this awesome game! The design is phenomenal, and has so many fun features woven throughout the entire experience! Genius! I'm getting the deluxe version and hope I can continue with my save file like other people have had success doing. You rock!

slime bunnys are using charm to us (like there is no charm effect in game but they are healing you and make you love them and dont hurt them) (ı love them :3)

I think I encountered a glitch. Deep in the Mystic Woods I encountered a snail blocking my path but when I tried to interact with it it would simply bounce up and down and I can't fight it. Spamming on it eventually gave me the Where's Satan medal but I can't progress any further. I tried reloading a save but it didn't fix anything. Is this a glitch or am I missing some obvious way around it (very possible)

I guess I'd better not ask about a possible EBF6, considering that tombstone... :D (Though I think most gamers will agree with the EA one). But might these characters appear in future games in some other guise? I think I'm gonna miss them after all this time...

If you are at all a fan of turn based tactical combat, cute and quirky characters, bizarre third wall breaking and puzzle solving, you will not wish to miss this game. EBF3 was good, EBF4 was great and EBF5, as I near completion, is even better. All the things I liked in the earlier games have been polished and perfected, to the point where I wish I could give this game six stars. It really is that good.
Your antivirus or something else may be blocking it. You could also try a different browser - both Chrome and Firefox should work fine. Does the backup save not work either?

I love that backline receives mass buff too and that extra skills can be swapped between characters at no cost. Those were major problems for me in EBF4.

when Epic Battle Fantasy 3 came out, I was pretty young, and didn't know a lot of people who played turn based RPGs. I was shocked when the creators name was Kupo, I didn't know other people really played the Final Fantasy games. I messaged Kupo707, shocked that there were other people who shared my interests. He took the time to respond to me, and it mattered a lot to my younger self. Every game this guy comes out with has been so much fun, and every time I think about them I'm reminded of the time he was kind to me.

This game deserves to be the highest rated game. Why? Because it's presence shows how Flash is important to history; at first, he created not good, but free games, to better and well known series called Epic Battle Fantasy: while the first 2 were closer to games like Sonny when it comes to gameplay, starting from 3rd and now, he added exploration; the ones that helped to popularize the RPG games and series as a whole.
Looking on Steam, you show how you can do paid games right: like Creeper World creator, you use Steam for improved/extra features, and remaking 1 older part of the series for free for fans commitment to buying on Steam. All of it is better compared to Kong pushing P2W garbage on Steam, like $ynapticoin, which itself only a shadow of what Tyrant used to be, one of best games of 2011 on Kong that was gone due to their greed on Unleashed and not-so clones called Spellstone and Animation Throwdown. Don't become like them, my avatar is a remnant of a better era.

i remember played ebf 4 and i love it so much. i already played it on ur website but i am glad it officially came up on kongregate. Love this game so much !
