Something I really appreciate here is how well paced this game is. I never had to grind exp once. Until the final boss, that is. After I got curb stomped I went back and found all 3 secret jewels and did the secret forgotten ruins stuff then went back and was just barely ready to beat it. Makes me really sad that (according to the achievements thing from Kong) only ~3,000 people actually beat the game out of the >500,000 to play. Really great game, but with that ending it seems like the series is done. I pray that isn't the case every day and night.

Great! I stepped into EBF5 just for kongpanion, now I HAVE to play rest of the series. And polish translation is great and funny - I ussualy play english versions bc translations are dull - but not this time. I'm guessing native polish speaker is involved 'cause puns are neat in this language. Gameplay is pretty as usual in such games, but narration is something that makes it special. I literrally do LOLs all the time. Dzięki!

final boss hints
mass limit break as soon as the real boss appears, use viking monolith to get all 5 out
stun/freeze the minions, weaken curse and tire the boss
equip for debuff chance to overcome the resistance
morale and auto revive on as many people as possible when the boss charges

Let me preface this by saying this game is amazing. I loved every second of the 23 hours I have so far into it. But after getting wiped out by the final boss after about an hour, I really feel like the hardest fights (not so much the harder mini bosses, mostly just the final boss) need some tweaking. I don't mind it's insane HP. What I do mind is that every turn was a repeat. 1. Get devastated in a single enemy round 2. Heal up 3. Poke with a single member because that's the only free turn left over from healing back up 4. Repeat. Most battles are not like this. Is it something I'm doing wrong? My 3 fronts get wiped out down to 1 person with minimal health every single round. Any help?

I have grown up with this game! It's so amazing that it got continued and the new elements just ads so much! I already love this game <3

Also having trouble saving data. It'll load my 9 hour save without issue, but it won't let me save beyond that. Contemplating buying on Steam (it's a great series, and the developer deserves every penny), and then importing the file to get the badge(s)
This version of the game may not be able to load a save from the latest Steam version (though some people have said they managed to). Make sure your browser, adblocker, antivirus etc, don't have any limits on how many cookies a website can make. You may have hit the cookie size limit for Kongregate. Alternatively - use the backup save system! (incognito/private mode may block that)

I'll keep the backup save in case I ever want to try again for all the Medals on Steam, but I'm not thrilled to have to explain to people what a .meow file is when they come across it...

I just love having both the viking monolith and the brown bear trigger on the same turn ... against a single, almost dead enemy.

just beat the game. it was a wild ride, (and a long one for sure) but it was all worth it. 5/5 would play again someday

I love all the little references there are in this game. From chibi knight, to Gurren Laggen and of course pokemon. I'm sure there are alot more that I'm forgetting, missed or have yet to see. These little easter eggs just make this game so much more enjoyable. Amazing game as always! Keep up the good work Kupo!

i just want to say. that with flash going away. its wonderful that we got one last EBF game from you. and to be frank i think this one is my favorite one in the whole series. all the battle mechanics have been perfected over 4 games and the 5th game is perfect. i personally like the idea that spells don't require mana anymore and instead have summons that require points instead. the whole summon thing is great all together. the offline save file is a great addition too. makes it so i easily make sure i have not lost data. and like always love the humor in the game. 10/5 rating

Entertaining enough, but the end boss basically kills most of your party every attack, forcing a tedious slog of reviving them over and over until it just instakills the entire party at once. Okay, game, point made. There are better ways of spending my time.

I'm just really impressed with the balance. All characters sub in and out often and feel useful. The game stays challenging but winnable. The battles are more fun than what you'd see in most AAA titles even. Well done.

is there a log of the dialogue and other type of messages? i've already missed two texts, the last one when i walked into a new screen and accidentally clicked before realising he was saying something. i don't think i'm missing vital plot info, but i like the humour. that's actually the main reason i'm playing.

It should be noted that some of the quests can only be completed by getting the needed materials from other quests first

How do I defeat the massive 100k + HP monster in the frozen valley? It seems unbeatable no matter how much I level up
