It's a 135MB download, so be patient on the loading screen!
How to Play
Doesn't work correctly in a browser any more.
You can buy the deluxe version of this game on Steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/432350/Epic_Battle_Fantasy_5/
There's also a free-to-play version on Android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.EpicBattleFantasy5
The easiest way to keep playing the free web version is probably to use BlueMaxima's Flashpoint Infinity app for Windows - my games are all available there.

Having practically grown up on the internet, Flash games are something that's been with me for practically as long as I can remember. The EBF series wasn't just something that I had fun with for years, but also helped foster my love for fantasy and RPGs as a whole. Like some people said, this game is a wonderful last breath for Flash games, and I hope awesome devs like these can continue to put out these kinds of great, soul-filled works out into the world, even after this particular era of internet history draws to a close, and I can only thank Matt and all the other amazing artists out there from the bottom of my heart.

I played the Steam version for 100 hours, insta 5/5 stars here. It's not just a phenomenal game, it's a great send off to Flash games as a whole as we approach the end of Adobe Flash. Thank you Matt for this great game and series as a whole.

Remember to make sure that your browser does not delete any Flash cookies or temporary data for Kongregate, or else you'll lose your saved games! You should be able to change the privacy settings in either Firefox or Chrome to get the game running perfectly.
Also don't play in incognito/private mode, and make sure to use the backup save feature every once in a while, which let's you manually save the game to your computer.

Some tips: Give Anna three status boosting equipment (Alchemist/Gaia's Gift, Blue Elephant, Red Dress) so she can pierce status res easy. The secret to the game isn't raw power, it's damage stacking. Each element is boosted by a status - Bio/Tired, Bomb+Fire/Dry, and so on. Natalie's offenses are pretty weak in 1.5, though the Steam version (2.0) has them as strong as Lance. Lance has cooldowns, so try to alternate between two attacks - Coat of Teeth and Flame Titan work well to this end. When capturing foes, your stats don't matter. What does are capturing gear Good Luck, statuses on the target, and debuffs. Most foes can be caught at 30% health with Putrid Worm and status effects. It's easier to Steal an item and run than to try to kill foes to farm it. Change your clock to: Chinese New Year, Valentines, Halloween, Easter and Christmas for the seasonal stuff. Try to capture one of each foe, many are used in forging; most can be found in Grand Gallery if you used one up.
