Under rating threshold (show) What an amazing and truly unique TD game! I ♥ the graphics and the cute animations (the climbing hero is brilliant). Also the changing backgrounds make every level very special and a new experience. Thumbs up, this deserves a 5/5

Under rating threshold (show) Its a platformer version of the kingdom rush TD lol. While I give it a 5/5 for the awesome concept, it is lacking a bit in the tower component. You only ever get the 4 basic towers it seems, upgrades just make them overall stronger, no new special effects or upgrade paths.

Under rating threshold (show) I can understand why there isn't a speed up button (standard with TD's) - however, giants + regular mobs makes tower targeting a nightmare. A simple addition of targeting options for towers would make the game a little better (imo - and I say "a little better" because the game's already pretty great as is).

Under rating threshold (show) For beta players that wanted to transfer the save file, you could probably learn from here: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3/topics/12269 The difference is, you're going to want to move the *.sol files from "chat.kongregate.com" to "assets.kongregate.com". Hope that helps!

Under rating threshold (show) I don't know if this is just a problem for me or for everyone but when I hover over any clickable button. e.g the towers build spots, or the next wave button.... unless my mouse is in a certain spot inside the circle the note will spaz uncontrollably. Making only about 5-10% of the button actually click able. Which makes this game unplayable.

Under rating threshold (show) Oh, and the other things I found frustrating: It was hard to scroll, making me lose that crucial life between 2 and 3 flags, and no speed up button for those times you are literally waiting for the golem to get tackled. Other than that, fantastic game!

Under rating threshold (show) LOVE the graphics! Aside from what's been suggested here regarding the upgrades, I would also like to see a speed up button, and the time it takes your soldiers to climb down is annoying. I love the fact that when you tell your hero to attack a specific target he doesn't stop to kill everything in between, that's great! However, his pathing does need some work, particularly when he gets lost trying to climb the monster. Not quite sure what the purpose is of being able to select individual people on the towers, makes it a huge pain to select the tower for upgrade. The targeting is weird. It doesn't do lowest hit points or closest to goal, maybe highest or strongest? If you're not going to have default closest to goal you might want to put in where the player can decide. Also, the 11th stage is proving to be somewhat impossible to get a perfect on. Hopefully you haven't made it where you MUST buy the Premium Content to do so. Anyway, overall love the game, look forward to seeing more!

Thanks for the mini review! We're taking notes. Regarding the premium content, the game & level design is already finished before we started making the premium content. So, it doesn't require premium content to finish the game. It's possible that we've just failed in perfecting the difficulty on that particular level. I have made several games so far, and to be honest, I still find it difficult to achieve that perfect difficulty/balance. Thanks! Hope you could enjoy the rest of the game.

Under rating threshold (show) Another thing to add...Need targetting priority. I want my towers to target the cannon bros. When everythings targetting the mammoth my hero and soldiers are getting blasted by the cannon bros and I can't figure out how to get the towers to target the bros instead if there is a way.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game. Loving it so far. Especially the fact tat they characters actually climb the giants to attack...Pretty nice. Maybe I just don't see it but being able to see how far the aura extends around the hero would be helpful to know who's getting the influence. I know the one influenced has a blue circle under them but it's easier if I can see the aura itself around the hero.

Under rating threshold (show) The giant enemies are a great variation and definitely add a new layer of strategy. I did encounter a problem though. When buying/upgrading towers, the tooltip often covers the button and cancels out of the buying menu if I try to click it. Usually only the bottom of the button is visible and clickable. This can also happen on the "send wave" button.

Under rating threshold (show) This is quite an interesting game. I realy liked the concept of big monsters and different objects (boulders, explousions and so on). And the hero with upgrades is cool. Oh, and it's interesting that different parts of one tower have different attack ranges. I already bought the premium content. But I met several things which are bothering me. First one. I often use the hotkeys, but sometimes my fingers slip and I press the "~" button. When this happens, the starting screen of the game opens. And when I load my game and try to play any level I don't see the level - I see only the main menu picture. So I have to reload the game to play normally. This is inconvenient. Second one: the swordsman in the fourth level of his tower has too low range to see and attack little enemies near the basement of the tower, so it is idle most of the time. Or is this supposed to be right?

Hi, It's really nice to know that you like the game. And Thanks a bunch for the support! I'm going to upload a quick fix to address the "~" key problem. It's used during testing and I forgot to remove it >_<. We will consider increasing the attack range for next update along with some bug fixes.

I understand that a lot of games contain the "holy trinity" (melee, mage, archers) from the get go, and it's hard to explain this to players. But, our initial release plan is to only include melee hero due to scope and time constraint issue - kind of like Kingdom Rush doesn't have champions/heroes when it's first released. The two other heroes wasn't in our release plan until after Kongregate pickup our game and we decided to create premium content to monetize the game (developers have to eat & pay the bills yada yada...). I hope this could help shed light on what happens behind the screen.

Under rating threshold (show) I think it a great game. It's something a little different from the typical TD games. To be honest, I think the 'Increase Game Speed' button is unnecessary, for now anyway. I just made it through the first level with barely 2 stars lol Its not too easy, and not too hard. Great start to it.

This is strange. I have never encounter this during development & testing. Did you beat the Golem? Just to be sure, there are 9 waves of enemies (there's wave counter on the top panel).

Under rating threshold (show) I had all tower slots full and I had just selected a sword tower to upgrade to level 4 which completed and I hit a button to use wind magic just as my hero died. After that I could not mouse click anything anymore like BUT i could still pan the screen with mouse by scrolling to the edge. Also if I used hotkey for meteor or beserk it allowed me to target areas for the spell but that was the only mouse function working beside scroll.

And I would like to see what each upgrade does before I invest in that branch, because you cant take your points back. Otherwise, I absolutely love the game and hope to see the finished version

Under rating threshold (show) I dont know if others had this but on the 5th stage the game suddenly stopped letting me upgrade towers. I could not sell towers, upgrade towers, or even move my hero on the screen. I had to use keyboard commands to active spells etc...

We choose to limit the tower levels in earlier maps is to keep the balance. Though, when you replay them, hero upgrades and tower upgrades is still included. Higher level heroes could literally kill earlier enemies with one hit :P

Under rating threshold (show) I noticed that you did not have many games here on Kon so I purchased the content to encourage you to continue developing games here. A few notes though. At the end of a battle the button should probably say continue instead of resume, it would be good to know if the speed upgrade increases attack speed also, and most importantly anyone who has ever read comments on a TD on Kon should know that a 'Increase Game Speed' button is a must. Other than that its a great game so far. (3/5 until speed adjust then 5/5, simply takes too long to play)

Hi Khaotica, Thanks a lot for the support! We really appreciate it. I realize that the "increase game speed" feature is quite important for players, but ultimately we didn't implement this because of technical difficulties/complexity. We find it challenging enough to develop the basic game because of the giants and the small units climbing them. Mostly, the challenge comes from programming the units navigation & AI. Eventually, we choose to leave this feature to save time. That being said, I'm planning to play around with the code and see if it's doable. But, I can't promise anything :-/ Oh, will fix that "resume" button too. Heru
