by the way if you think the game is impossible try this tactic:place a mage tower or a cannon tower infront then behind the mage or cannon tower place a swordsmen tower so theyre in a trap where they cant move cause of the swordsmen

Nice game was unique and difficult I got 10/14 3 stars the rest at 2 after a couple of hours of retrying a couple levels I finally hung it up ready for something new. Grats to all who made the hard badge on this one.

Will there be clear "animations" to enemy minions? Its still nice, but most enemies move in 2-3pics. By the way, I love the game

Strategy guide for maps 4+ Max out hero's attack. Then get max health and speed. Do whatever with the rest of the points except no points in archer. For each map: 1. Put mages where enemies are coming. 1-2 per entrance is fine for now. 2. 1 solder by each exit, on last build point. 3. 1 cannon at points in front of soldiers' points. Have soldiers attack only minions and cannons attack enemy closest to end. 4. Mages everywhere else. 5. Have hero kill giants. Prioritize mammoth esp. 6. Upgrade towers based on circumstances: if horde's approaching, upgrade soldiers & cannons, upgrade mages if giants next. Keep the towers around the same level. 7. Spells: save berzerk and meteor for giants. Use wind to pull back minions that get past your defenses. If a ghost gets past the last mage, push it back into the mage's range if you can. Click the promotion links (facebook/twitter stuff)--you get 28 points just for clicking the links! Please + this if it helps. Have fun!

Poison game, 1 fake move and 3 enemies get passed. I hate many tower games because they force players to play perfect and lose tons of time for nothing. Plus the screen is still the same instead of moving art character.
I always said shooter games are simply THE BEST of all.

The graphics are nice and the concept of a "vertical" tower defense is unique (most tower defense games are isometric which gives a 3D like environment). However, looking at the Best Comments on Kongregate reveals a simple strategy that works for most levels, removing some of the strategic elements. Also, with no way to speed up the game and some levels being 30+ waves long, and towers and tower upgrades being very generic (all upgrades except the last just stack on an addition identical tier to the tower) the tedium quickly sets in. It's boring to slowly wade through 15 waves, only to see that your swordsmen couldn't hold off a few small units, causing you to lose a 3 star rating. Even if not going for 3 stars every level plays out in a very similar way. The speed is just too slow and needs a 2x and 3x speed. Overall, I give the game 3/5 stars.

I'm on 12/14 3 stars, On the flying castle level, 2nd phase totally glitched out, minions stopped attacking. :( Really like this game though. Love the art style, can be very frustrating when some enemies slip through but really enjoyed it :)

I played this for the Badge and Kongpanion. At first, I figured this was yet another "Kingdom Rush" clone, but the side-view and "Shadow of the Colossus"-esque way you fight the Giants freshens it up! Good job! (I had trouble with the first level at first, but I finally won by having Archers on the floating island and barracks along the ground level. I lost my hero in the end, but the Golem was weak enough by then that the Archers finished the job.)
