for all you guy who dont know, farms produce smog because of 1. the rotting matter used to make fertilizer for crops to grow, and 2. plants respire, they produce co2 like any other living organism, they just produce more oxygen in photosynthiesis in the day than at night.

I WOULD rate it 5/5 BUT the farms MAKE smog.
smog=carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide+plants=oxygen, oxygen=no smog.
so... 4/5

This game teaches us a very important lesson, invest in green technology or we will be invaded by garbage eating zombies.

They should add a power plant that runs on Ethanol (+35 Energy +12.5 smog)
And the Oil power plant should come back, cuz Oil has many more uses than just fueling up cars (+50 Energy +20 smog)
And maybe an Electric Transporter plant that boosts the energy production of nearby buildings by 10% (upgrade)- 20% (Upgrade) 25%

i was doing aweosme! making 1000+ power, plenty of food, tesla coils everywere, I WAS UNSTOPPABLE!!! and then they found the nuclear waste >.>

i love this game...not to complex and not to simple....but yes i have known this game for 2 years and i still play it! my favorite game! and also educational! i played game twice....i think ill play it again

I've always wondered, if the apocalypse was caused by a total depletion of the Earth's conventional resources, why are there energy resources EVERYWHERE!? I swear, you can't go anywhere in post armageddon earth without stepping in all the potential energy.

HOW TO BEAT THE LAST LEVEL: I did not build sh*t. Really, dont build anything that makes smog, let the garbage build up cuz its not that much, the pollution goes from 700 to 500 once the monsters come @ night, and then will be down to 300 once the monsters leave. Lower levels= easy enemies. Just build an iron Mine and use turrets. Pretty funny, I beat the last level without building a single building :)

Challenge #5 is tough. Here's some hints: 1)Go all nuclear to reduce smog. Build 3 plants ASAP. 2)Labs are the key to efficient power. Build a total of 2 or 3 of them as power allows. Level up your nuclear plants. Later, use the research points to upgrade your garbage trucks and switch off gasoline to natural gas. 3)The natural gas point in the north west is important. Defend if possible, keep clear of trash to rebuild if not. 4)Build 3 metal mines and keep the area free of garbage if they are destroyed. You need the metal to build defenses. 5)Bulldoze the coal plant. It provides free garbage and a power up to attacking zombies if it's destroyed. 6)Use a combination of all 4 different defenses to avoid relying on one resource. Light beacons only need one resource (power) so when you don't need to worry as much about power usage, flood the battlefield with them.. 7)The first night is always the toughest. Sometimes, there's nothing you can do.

I first started playing this game because of a quest, but have found myself coming back more and more! The story is epic and the game play is awesome. 5/5.

I don't like this game, I don't like having to rush through everything, there is no option to turn off a timer. They don't even give you a first wave free, everything is timed.

I love thi game but is anyone else having issues for the easy badge updating? I've definately killed more than 100 zombies but it doesnt update.
