Wow really enjoying the game so far. this game is so deep with features, ill admit needs some cleaning up but i haven't enjoyed a game this much since ngu idle, well done

@EdwardD5 you more then likely have just finished your appreticeship and your home is now an lodged at an inn. this take 0.4 gold per second you will need to gather gold and change your home

@shadoww3737 check your home furniture, each item has types, and many skills have required types in order to train them, i.e. potted milkweed has type garden, and to train herbalism you need at least 1 item with type garden, so if you learn herbalism then sell your only plant, it won't let you level it cause you don't have the garden type anymore

heres a tip for new players. any of the actions like focus that you can click multiple times if you click it once you can then hold the enter key to spam that one action.

I love this game so far, unlocked like- 23 skills now? Skill points become matter of farming, but that's not bad either.. I am having minor problem on how to unlock potsource? I tried leveling crafting/minerology/conjuration so far, but.. Maybe I am looking at wrong place.. Maybe it's unlocked by completing adventure instead? ...I will stumble upon it eventually, I suppose.. ^^

No tutorial so it makes people think, most don't like to so a small tutorial saying stuff bought in the home open skills, reaching certain caps opens things. Also, a way to increase tick speed, based on offline time or time played. Otherwise, great start!
Unfortunately I'm busy writing new features. I did not even make the existing guides; very helpful users and play testers did. One day when I have time I will setup a wiki.

figuring out how to move into a new home wasn't clear at all. it took me about 12 hours of off and on playtime to figure it out.

@Simplex4 - When you end your apprenticeship, you automatically move into a room at the local inn. The game doesn't mention that you have to start paying rent until you move into your own place. Move to a hut, they're cheap and bigger than the inn room.

What does memorizing spells do? It doesn't seem to give any benefit, it doesn't even make shortcuts to cast them, as far as I can tell. What am I missing?

I was about to type something about this game being so close to great but with glaring issues, but then I joined the discord and I understand some things now. Definitely need an in-game "help" option that describes each task in detail but now that I'm looking at the discord guide that suffices

Some.....thing...is just using gold. The amount just decreases. Why is that? Is it really so hard to provide a hint like "This crap is draining gold, disable it" or something? Or is it just a bug to annoy players?

Can't seem to access any sort of dungeon, or anything else that might actually let me progress past having a max of 95 research and 65 gold. I suppose that I could just keep leveling up by smashing and filtching pumpkins, but that's pretty tedious, and active, play
at appentice the top tabs should open. you should be able to move into a home; buy small chest. buy large chest. use skills. dungeons are only a part of the game but not the main route to magic advancement.

Can't click on the other tabs, like Player, Home, etc. I'm guessing it's this janky Authentic8 Silo browser that they make us use here.

found a bug (exploit)? if you click "rest" in the player tab, your Samina regenerates by 1 point, even while you are doing other things.
You are allowed to do clickable actions while resting. This is so the active-action doesn't tie you up from actually interacting with the game. You can click and perform grey actions while your default/perpetual action is running -whatever that action is.

Ah, I see. I just hold enter while resting :P Most html games you just hold enter instead of clicking, but this might be unintentional on your side ):
I'm sorry if this isn't clear. I intentionally allow active-clicking (grey) actions while doing any other ongoing action at the same time. This is to allow players to decide how actively they want to play. You aren't punished for clicking, but can also just let the game go on.

Why do you warn for the inreversable apprenticeship? i tried avoiding it to see if other options would pop up. But i just see a small chest and scrole rack unlock that i cant buy yet. If in the start its the only option to move forward with i dont understand why you put a warning in it.

This is probably going to screw me up and a few other people, but it has to be pointed out: The first two levels of Crystal Ball and Occult Endurance GAVE me Max Research, instead of substracting.
this was a former bug and should be fixed now. Please assume that Crystal Mind et al. will COST you max research and that it can get you in a bind if you overspend.

If the game is too big for your screen and you don't care about chat, right click on the game, mouse over this frame and click on show only this frame.
unfortunately kongregate forces the interface to pick a size, whereas on a free browser you can size the game to anything. based on feedback I have reduced the width and see how things play. Some people also like bigger screens so there is no way everyone will be happy.
