Guide for 8000 feet: Move up, use your full boost and switch between 20-21% resistance; when your boost is almost gone, switch to 0% resistance as fast as you can - you should fly with 200 mph; than switch between 0-1% resistance and 197-200 mph (thats the hardest part); if you are near the water, fly with 3% resistance as long as you can, when your going down, move up and down and try to small resistance parts with 1%.
PS: I think 8200 feet is the maximum. People, who have much more, cheat.

It would be cool if once you complete the game you unlock an unlimited mode so you can fly OVER 6,000 feet.+ if you agree.

Need money for the rest of your stats/rocket fuel at the (pre)end level of the game?
Can get over 10k if you just fly up at 270 degree angle rapidly pressing space bar til your out of fuel, then you just fly normally at a 180 degree angle. PS. This works because it grants time, some distance, and elevation. Went from 63 to 17k in one go.

some peeps think the graphics are not so great, but that makes the game pretty great. The last badge is like impossible to get, though.

a good flying tip: when you have a good flyer thing go up (not to steeply) at the first 5 secs of flight then go down (as steeply as possible) then pull back up repeat until slow then use rocket when getting slow.

Easy achievement, I stopped tracking it after day 11 because it's pretty easy from this point onwards, follow the buying guide and hit the achievements I have pointed out. The days are listed after a day has been completed.. So Day 1 means I had 17 dollars after my day 1 flight etc...

i followed akoustiks' strategy and it didnt help at all. "balance your penguin so that he is flying at 1% resistance" how am i supposed to do that if i press the left arrow key when at 0% resistance and i hold the left arrow for not even a fourth of a second, it brings me to 7% resistance when i maxed out every upgrade

i should check every game for badges. why? because the period at the end of the achievement "achieving the impossible" theres a youtube link to the awesome video "kiwi" toss the turtle also has a link :D

GOD!! FRUSTRATING! The only reason I played it was to get the achievments and even then wasn't worth it... At the end it just gets plain BORING! 2.5 stars!!
