Needs more variety of armor's eg (cloth, leather, plate) and more range of wep's like possibly bows or guns and the if staff would actually fire stuff that would be cool aswell

Very good game overall! It reminds me of Zelda. Anyway, the game could do better with a couple of tweaks here and there, but it's still able to hold on to its own. I'm looking forward to a sequel (with some improvements, though).

OK, great game, part I & II. weirdness3, you are right, shortcuts would make things easier... but please, make them enemies more scary-killing loomies is like killing your own pet-and who the hell would do this? but indeed- 5/5. stay on these roads^^

Good game, but it needs: Storage, Intelligence effects over cooldown and % chances (like freezing with ice ball) of spells, maybe a "database" ingame to see some stats of monsters you already killed.

I really hate it when games use the strength stat to determine inventory space. When they do that, it severley imbalances classes, especially those that do not rely on strength such as mages. Sure, it wouldn't make sense if strength wasn't proportional to the amount of items that you could carry, but when you make a game that contains TITANS from GREEK MYTHOLOGY, you kinda NEED to throw certain elements of realism out the window. Great game though.

Good pets (All adult except witness and skull pixie) Poison Bug (Poision) Thunder Snake (Lightning) Gila (Tank for mages) Skull Pixies (I think heals) and Witness (stuns a lot..)

The game freezes when crafting is used for extended period of time, the pet pathfinding needs some serious improvement and same goes for hit detection; sometimes I can't hit an enemy even when I am right next to it. Crafting should take a lot less time, I hate to watch that animation every time I try to create something. Dying takes way too long. Maybe you should replace the "Oh noes, you have picked one item too many, you are not movin until you drop something" with.. like reduced speed. Oh, and agility should add movement speed as well. And finally, when you are crafting and close the inventory after that, it tends to pop right back. If you fix at least these, I think this would be a decent game.

Does anybody know how exactly the weight of an item effects its speed, I don't notice any difference between a 4 and a 7 item, but a huge difference between 7 and 10

Bug: sometimes, when you kill a monster near a gate the item is impossible to get - you have to go over it to get it, but if you do this then you go through the gate. Not a major bug, but could do with fixing - i ended up stuck with no hope of progressing because the Blood of Iapetus was an impossible get, and it disappeared when i accidentally went through the gate. + so the developer sees and fixes this

4 stars, but one thing is that they need some type of storage shed in the town so that instead of having to use or discard or sell things we can store them for later use. agreed?

with everyone complaining about stats regarding the following equipment weight and health issues i would just like to add my two cents into it personally im not having any issues carrying items getting hurt or dishing out damage i am a level 20 mage at the moment with 25 str base agi base def 59 mag and i dont get hit by anything because im not stupid enough to get close to the fight im still using the starter pet until i find something that poisons well aka large green beetle this is my third time through and im trying a mage and it kills fast nothing really is a strugle at this point as far as equipment carrying dont pick anything up unless you need it i have 20k gold and nothing to spend it on except maybe berry potions and mana potions so people need to stop complaining and learn to deal with a situation + this if you agree

Needs some kind of passive stat increase, or give 5 stat points per level. Going pure str or int to kill things quickly means you'll be stuck at 50 health forever and mages could hardly carry anything with all the stuff needed for crafting quests.

if you change the time on the clock on your computer it affects the time it takes an egg to hatch! you can hach anything in two seconds like this! dont forget to change the time back afterwards

Yes you can take a pet out of the stable. What you do is you click on the pet you want ( in the stable) then you click the make active buttion.

Please get rid of the weight system, it holds the game back from its full potential. I GURANTEE this game will be rated higher by getting rid of the weight system, people will appreciate it, and it'll get better reviews. + if you agree.

The golem talisman works with every slot of leather gear and paladin talisman works with every slot of old guard gear so use the crafting system to combine em. The statues don't have any quests on this and they really should since you get the talismans pretty early and the armor really helps out.

After about level 10 I had pretty much no need for money, (I found/forged whatever I needed), but I had about 35000 just sitting there by the end of the game. Perhaps a development could be unlocking stuff in the shop once you reach higher levels?

TIP: at the beginning, get all poison skills for miasma and only uprade intel. use miasma on big full maps with lots of creeps to lvl up. then get all thunder skills. with 1st thunder skill u can do 400dmg on bosses if u do a lot of intel increase. doing this allows u to finish the gmae easy. at the beginning just be sure to let your pet do the tanking. hope this helps! also for craft guide go on http://guidology.com/2011/05/03/castaway-2-crafting-guide/. vote + so everybody sees!!!

Just Finished the whole game. Here are several tips for those you who are starting

This site have maps and everything you need. Check it out.
Do not craft things early. There is a nail bat crafting quest. If you craft early you need make two nail bats which is a great waste of time and energy.
The game naturally gives you the weapons you need as you prgreess through the quests. Stick faithfully to quest and you won't have much problems. Also magical skills are not necessary except the heal tree almost all throughout the game.
Get all the physical skills (shield bash and spin attack are priceless. They do not cost mana and is far stronger than any magical attacks). Once you have sanctuary and spin attack climb down the lighting tree. The final lightning attack attacks all enemy on the screen and stuns which is very useful for boss fights.
