I wanted to play the game, 'cause it looked really nice, but I couldn't bring myself to go around wacking beetles that weren't even attacking me. "That beetle looks docile, but let's wack it over the head just to be sure." This is the first RPG I've ever played where the enemies don't even initiate the attack.

is there a way to speed up text displays? i don't want to sit there for 3 minutes waiting for something someone says ot show up, and clicking Next just skips it...

...I see a lot of comments about leveling too slowly. Personally, I was thinking, if anything, that you level a tad bit too quickly.

I think that it definitely needs an autosave, if your pet dies it shouldn't be permenant, and that your equipped items shouldn't take up inventory!

While at first enjoyable, several factors would keep me playing much longer. The lack of semi-transparency is an already stated major issue, as well as the equipped items taking inventory space being... not conventional. One thing that is very frustrating, though may just be an aspect of the game-play you want, is the need to manually save in town. This seems un-necessary. If this is a feature you'd like to keep, a "town transportation" option would help this problem. At the least labeling exits would make the journey to town much easier. Perhaps I'm a spoiled gamer, though, lol. The game has great potential, though.

in my opinion the hatching time for pets should be little bit shorter, for example, a scorpion takes 60 mins to hatch

Add to the list of improvements required - being able to see your stats in the village (or at least in the Travellers Den) so you know if you need to buy rest time.

I can think of a couple things that can improve this game (although it's already awesome), firstly more classes, maybe...mage, ranger and warrior and maybe have some kind of dungeon system to get either really good items or lots of gold (or both), also a way to revive pets would be awesome cause mine keep dying.

Just so you know, the heavy knife is a level 4 weapon worth... not much on SS2. You decide whether it's worth your time to play this repetitive game =/

I've been playing this game since it's release, It's one pf the best games on Kong and I'm so glad that it's finally getting the badges it deserves.

Unless you "Grind to 3" What the hell are you talking about. This is an rpg and if you dont want to level up to 3 in an rpg then you seriously need to not play rpgs

It has a lot of potential, but there are a ton of problems that add up -- poor balance and grind requirements among the foremost (snakes in the first level able to twoshot you unless you grind out three levels on beetles? Really?). Also, quest progress counts aren't reset when you die, and controls are kinda crap.

Just a absolute boring game, not worth playing for more than 5 minutes. The moving is blocky, the fighting is boring, the quests are typical. Nothing interesting about this game whatsoever
