even if the items block your path, they can still be useful, because one time an enemy dropped an item and it blocked a tougher enemy from attacking. so i just flamed it until it died. so useful and annoying. :P

Fun game! The inventory limitation was a bit disappointing now and then, but nothing world-changing. My pet was only killed due to those sorts of issues twice. Using Castaway feathers and saving often eliminated the problem and kept me from losing exp gain. Especially at the later areas, I just bred pets as disposables. The enemies' attacks killed them in 3 hits. Getting armour for the pets would be great, though. For the magma, I bought a bootload of potions and did the missions in a few swoops, solo. Pets just got in the way. Poison was a killer early on, but once I got higher HP it wasn't a big deal. The only things which actually made the game challenging in later areas were the enemies’ Freeze and Stun attacks. Feedback: typo in 'acquired item' in the running log (it says 'aquired') and agreement about the elemental swords. By the time the enemies finally dropped enough of the required item for me to complete the quest, I was already using a sword with better damage than either.

im so sick of playing this and losing so much play time cause of no auto save at any point. cant give more than 3/5 cause of it

The Frost Scorpion *doesn't* stun (freeze) opponents? Weird. A pet ogre lord will stun (with the stars) an enemy proper. I thought frost scorpions and ice elementals would do the same thing their wild counterparts do.

something's wrong. The missions give a recommended minimum level for completion. One I have, to kill 12 venom snakes, is rated for level 8, I'm at level 12 and still can't stay in the castaway jungle for more than 2 minutes withou risking my life or my pet's. Either the enemies are too strong, or the right weapons are way too expensive (I vote both)

"Hmm, yeah I have enough hp to kill one more mob before heading back to town to stock up" *second mob spawns directly behind you as you engage the first* *both crit you* "#$%@!!!!!" :(

This is technically not an action RPG in the traditional sense. Namely because, it lacks action other than clicking once on an enemy and waiting.

It would be really nice if sleeping refilled my pet's HP like it says it does. I rarely go to the inn for myself and paying to refill my pet's HP and having it not work half the time is really annoying.
Oh, and that piccolo, dear god that piccolo hurts.

People -'d the last guy to ask, but there are dumber questions: How do you deselect a pet? (Short of getting it killed) I find no way of putting mine back in the hatchery selection.

I feel that the castaway feather should be instant, i died and teleported back to town, the game glitched and i had to reload

stuns dont always work, i hate when i do some sort of attack that stuns them, expecting a little reprieve, yet they keep attacking.

Man!!! this really needs a an auto save feature, ive died 2 times already with 3 quests completed and now i have to start them all over again, im sorry if im complaining too much but its just frustrating, so please add an auto save feature which will be rly helpful, click + if you agree

Ogre Lord is the only good pet. After you get 2 generators, pets become useless. They simply don't do enough damage compared to your character. And by the time you get an ogre lord egg, you will have probably already beaten the game.

Sadly, there is no way to walk through items. However, you guys sound real stupid. Just go to castaway beach and keep on healing you pet with wild berries. It works, I'm three-quarters through the game and my pet hasn't died. Anyways, great game. 8.0/10

does anyone else feel guilty getting a snake to kill another snake and also pets aren't that bad there quite good design because you can't just get a egg and make it a god like pet in 5 minites, no you HAVE to level it up and then it'll be good

Many times, I and my pet have been attacked by two enemies. I've killed mine, but I can't get over to help my pet because there's an item in the way. I can't pick it up, because my extremely limited inventory is full. In the time it takes to delete something, my pet has died. Now I have to start the whole section over, because I can only save in town. Or perhaps I need to start over at town because an invisible enemy has spawned and killed me or my pet. Again. And now, resting in the Traveler's Den won't heal my pet anymore. My pet doesn't heal over time, and I can't buy items to heal my pet in the store (both of which i should be able to do), this means that my pet isn't going to last too much longer. This game would be fantastic, if not for the countless rage-inducing flaws that it is riddled with. 1/5
