I really like the concept for the game, but it has some flaws that lead to endless grinding. First, resting is 10X too expensive. While this isn't so much of a problem for the character, it is for the pet.
The pet gets to be extremely high maintenance around level 8. As I go into the jungle my level 8 pet needs 5 wild berries after every fight, or more. This means that I spend all my time berry hunting. I spend a small amount of time advancing in the game and a lot of time killing sand beetles. It's boring. I'm not going to finish the game because of this. Make resting free or very cheap and a lot of these issues go away.

One more comment: Dying should not make a total "Game Over", there should be a continue option. It sux when you die and have to go back a lot on the game.

Never have I felt so much rage for a game on Kong. The saving issue is so annoying, but I'm too far in to not get this badge...

I takes too long to grind items from enemies. Also, the game does nothing to try and hide the fact that most of what you're doing is purposeless grinding, which makes it not fun at all.

A couple of fixes - 1) Please move that damn "Hints & Tricks" button. I'm sick of dying because of misclicks. 2) Ditto with the tiny "Use/Destroy/Cancel" buttons. 3) Other people have already made excellent points about the pets dying and controlling them.

Ok, there seriously needs to be some place in the town at which you can revive your fallen pets at. You spend AGES training up a pet only to have it die and you have to retrain one from scratch

There should be a way for you to fast forward the text without skipping it entirely. This game was clearly developed by someone who was border line illiterate, because my 7 year old got irritated by how slowly the text was appearing.

Only slightly disappointed with the level cap on equipment being high. I have 1500 at lvl 8 and want an executioners sword

yea. what samurai said is right. My level 11 pet died cuz it got mobbed in a place i couldn't see thanks to the trees :/

get rid of your pet (by using something dumb like the beetle or snake and getting it killed) until last level! you don't need it, you save pet food for the best pets (which are on the last level, you don't have to train every new pet you find, and you don't have to despair every time your pets get killed (which is often)

The biggest complaint I have, is the controls. Inventory may seem to be a pain, but meh. The games fine as is, but why add the "WASD" movement system, without a hotkey system for your skills. You have to click on all the enemies to attack them, twice, then you're off to clicking to activate your skills. This leads people to want to click to move. Simple enough.
Oh, Also. If you use a feather, and die mid-cast. I think you should die, and NOT continue to the outpost. I'm fine with dying, but I kinda got my hopes up to save my two levels gained, and I see the outpost like "YAY!" then the "Game Over" screen pops up. Kinda disappointing.

If some day i end up on a beach not knowing how i got there... i will say "ok... im on a videogame... now wich way do i buy the swords?"

Pets left of home should get 25% EXP you get in the field so your pet getting killed is less of a blow. Thumbs up if you agree.

idk if anybody agrees or has had this happen to them as well but ive had many situations where my character runs the longest way imaginable to reach the target ive clicked. the worst time i was forced to run around a small pond attracting the attention of many poisonous snakes i didnt need just to fight the snake that was originally in front of me

Pets are a completely useless part of this game. Considering their inability to inflict a significant amount of damage, and their low amount of HP, I'm not sure I see the point of including them in the game at all, aside from the fact that selling monster eggs can boost your income significantly.

Stop complaining about the poison. The point of it is that it stops you from recovering health until it goes away. Net damage is a lot more that the 1's you see floating above you.

Pros: Cute graphics, interesting fighting system, easy to figure out, pet buddies, RPG elements. Cons: Punishing difficulty, pets die to easy, repetitive combat, too much grinding, item fetch gets boring and tedious, trees get in the way of whats going on (jungle especialy), enemy respawn is annoying, missing stats for pets (which is best?). Final word: if these problems we're fixed, I would keep playing at jungle (goddamn snakes/scorpions that I CAN'T SEE >_<)

In most RPG's, running in circles fighting monsters at your level means you're not good at the game and need extra levels. In this one it means you either hack or you're just a B.A.

I've shersed the castaway beach hunders of times yet,I can't find the sand ganerator anywhere. where in the hell is the $*%@#&#% thing?!

I've encountered invisible blocks, been stopped in my tracks by item drops, experienced limited inventory, and had my pet reliable pet die countless times because I can't command it to stop fighting. There is, however, one positive flaw I've discovered: Choose an enemy, click a special attack, and then as soon as it's performed, click to attack the monster and the special attack will be repeated. Do this for bonus damage.

The inventory space should be bigger, and there should be a revive button for your pet. Or at least a chance to buy a new pet that's the same type of animal and same level of the pet that died.

The problems of the game is explained up top other than that i game WOULD b good if it was fixed and they should have a auto save

Two things this game needs RIGHT NOW : click to move... iso movement is irritating, that's why Diablo doesn't use it. And arrows to indicate where one screen connects to the next. WAY TOO VAGUE. Amazing to see a game so polished looking yet with such obvious and basic flaws.

hmmm... when you look to the north or south, you have your weapon on the right hand, but if you look to the west or east, you have your weapon on the left hand... lol

I was able to return to the village of Castaway by pressing up at the point where you start the first level. I haven't tested in detail, but I attempted to do this after completing the first quest. That may be a requirement for getting back.
