So does anyone actually use the pets for anything other then a meat shield? Even when they level up they seem to die so quickly. They're more trouble then they're worth so most of the time I just go out solo. It takes a little longer, but it's better then always going back and forth with a pet and spending tons on healing items for it.

Dude. I totally just skipped the last five quests... Ran through all the baddies and turned on the generator. The pet idea was cool, but they are just too weak. It's more trouble looking after them then it's worth.

4/5 maybe if the higher level the more health you regenerated and item slots i think those are some major problems - multiplayer would be nice too

I love this game, but it's really frustrating that almost every aggressive creature on the entire island is poisonous and your pet can die if it's randomly double teamed by said creatures in an instant. Way before I can click on food and click use.
Hot keys would solve that problem easily. Then I wouldn't have to spend two hours (literally) hatching a new pet, then spending 30 minutes leveling it up so that it can survive (yes, survive, not help). I feel like I'm babysitting it rather than it being a companion.
Other than that, this game is phenomenal. Every other aspect of this game excels in what some other flash RPGs lack. Even though I'm struggling a bit keeping money here at the end, I still like the challenge.

couple more thoughts:
-- if pet food is lying on the ground, maybe a button to allow pet to eat it, instead of having to pick up and "use"?
-- seems logical that frost elementals would not be harmed by frost magic, and lava elementals not harmed by fire magic.
-- would be good to have a "locker" back in town for extra items that don't fit in inventory. eg: accessories. currently, need to sell them, then buy them back if want them again later.

great work on this game. i agree with the ideas already posted re: inventory, semi-trans, etc...
one bit i'll add: game currently tracks units and ground items in the same grid array. if you separate into two arrays (one for units, one for items), then units can walk over items. currently units are blocked from passing even if something tiny (eg: a shard) is in a grid cell.

somtimes my first pet(the one thats green with the one eye) does 2 or 3 attacks at the same time its really useful xD

should make it so that if pets run out of hp they automatically return to town instead of it dieing and never returning back when u spent ur whole time playing the game training that certain pet also should let u buy pet food because it can drop alot somtimes but its still not enough

This is a horrible bloody game!
The movement controls are slow and jerky, the navigation is useless. I'm guessing at half the steps. You can't save your current status, ...
I gave it about 20 minutes of trying various routes/keyboard combos/etc.
Pretty graphics, and a tempting scenario, but whoever designed this needs to seriously study him some U/I.

A hot key system would make it so much better, along with some more equipment space. Adding both with some more tweaks like a spot to heal our pets over time w/o using an item. Just minor stuff like that would make this game so much better.

The invisable monster is a glich in the tileset that over laps other things you should still be damaging him, you just cant see it

Oh, one more thing - If I put pets in the pet hotel, you would assume that they'd at least recover a LITTLE from their wounds...

The comments that are the highest rated have pretty much hit on everything that I want to offer as possible improvements, but also the addition of a pause function would do wonders for my enjoyment.

For the Jungle area, I can't find the path to the next room. I'm in the 2nd room with just Venom snakes and there's 2 pieces of land connected by a small bridge. Anyone know how to get to the next part?

half these people are right NEEDS MORE INVENTORY SPACE AND EQUIPPED ITEMS SHOULD NOT COUNT but otherwise a pretty good game,im not that far into it though(lvl5 me and lvl4 pet)

A few things that will most likely have been said,
Needs more inventory slots or equipped items don't count towards slots
Make objects semi transparent so can see where you/things are
Make pets strong or give them health regen
Put in the ability to hot key items so no clicking back and forth
Great game overall, just a few minor issues.
5/5

how do you get back to the villiage from Castaway Beach? I can't figure out how to get back there, and I keep dying before I can complete my quests.

for the sand genrator in the second part of the room there is another pathway other to the one were there are snakes, took me at least an hour to do it
