So...the townspeople are so weak that they need your help against enemies you can easily defeat at Level 1, and yet they still charge you outrageous prices for weapons and items. Hmm, seems like there's a flaw in this logic somewhere...

I completely agree that there needs to be arrows between the little areas, I didn't realise that there was more than one area to Castaway Beach until I was level 5 and I accidentally went from the first area to the second after I'd been wondering where these imaginary Sand Snakes were that I had a quest for, for about ten minutes...

This is a great game. The whole plot of the story is brilliant, 1 problem that I have is the trees. You can't see anything as you walk underneith them. Maybe, invisible trees as you go under them. 4.5/5

I think it's telling that even the Kongregate team itself quit on this game after five quests. This started off with a good idea, but because of repetitive mind-numbing gameplay and some serious design flaws, it is lacking extremely. It really isn't a good sign when Kongregate itself allows even the badge hunters to quit a game before they even reach the second stage.

I liked the game while i was playing it but after i activated the last generator i was like... what? no ending??? I felt empty and like i wasted all my time.... :(

there is wild scorpion near jungle generator that is literally isolated as the are NO way to get to him. The only way to kill him is abilities.

I wish they would've done up a hard or impossible badge as well, 'cause I only got to the first area and was finished. Honestly I don't see much replayability without it, but maybe I'll be back.

Really? That's it for badges. Hear I spent hours the past two days thinking there would at LEAST be a hard badge for beating the game. Pet reached level ten? Nothing. Unreal.

I started playing yesterday and was very good about making sure I saved my game..... came back today and it's gone!!!!! :-\ (this game's really cool but I'm not going to risk looking my save again.......)

Single player MMO-type rpg? You effin insane? Grinding yourself silly without even the pretence of social interaction? I'd go crawl into a hole and die if I came up with such a devious, harmful, utterly unfun game idea.

Every Modern Game should have the option to save at any point. It does not affect difficulty if implemented correctly. You simply have two types of saves: Normal checkpoint saves, and the Save-and-Quit option. Normal saves can be limited to certain places, but the Save-and-Quit option should be available anywhere. By forcing the game to end after saving, you allow a player to save his progress, while keeping him from exploiting an anywhere-checkpoint. Simply invalidate the save after it has been loaded to prevent cheating and your done.
Of course, I also think game programmers shouldn't be so afraid of a permanent save at any point, but that ones harder to argue.

This game is super fun, but it is crippled by just a few points. First, the inventory system is way too little. Equip should be in a different area then regular items. Second, gold should be more readily available. Other than these things, great job. Can't wait to finish this game!

the exit on the first section is where you started, top left of map, little part that juts out, no arrows like in the very beginning.

You make me name and grow my pets. I learn to love them. Then you force me to let them free to make room for new ones because there's so few slots. This is heartbreaking to me.

i think the author of the game should really read the comments made on this page. You have to start thinking, if the most top-voted commentaries are about serious flaws in the game.

controls are difficult to use, inventory system is awkward, uests are unbalanced at the start, too much randomness in hit damage and rate, not enough infrmation about what skills (or stats for that matter) actually do ...

all in all a good game but it needs a few changes...
1.i like click to play rpgs better, constantly using the arrow keys is frustrating

buy as son as possible the 1st weapon and amor,i recomend the amor first, anyway, get some beetle eggs to sell, they are cheap but is the one that will give you more money in the start, after that buy 3rd and 4th wapons,3rd, 5th amor and 2nd, 4th and 6th shield not in that order exactly but as soon as it is possible at least try to mantain your equips the more atualized as possible
click like it if this guide helped you

for the ones that want to end the game i recomend to lvl up fast in weak monsters just as the sand beetle,, use the glitches in your favor,as the double skill glitch(to use 2 times a skill is simple, click a monster and then without atacking it click a skill, any close combat skill works, when you hit the moster whith the skill doucle click in the monster, that will do your 2nd atack use the skill again) and the fighting glitch(very simple, if you start fighting a monster and are in a agressive monster area and ends fighting 2 monster alternately double click the monsters that will do your personage hit them both fast)
