Some suggestions to make mathematics less of a pain to level : 1- get rid of the ridiculous multiplications and divisions, at least for low levels 2- auto-select all the text when the box gets the focus, makes for faster typing 3- Allow "Enter" to trigger the button when the textbox has the focus 4- Keep the focus on the textbox after triggering the button to minize the number of actions required per math solving.

Not seeing the hint for tooltips level 6. The hunting aspect is kind of frustrating in an idle game, but I guess that's life!

For those stuck on “Between this game and death, what do you select?" The solution is about "selecting" any checkbox over and over other than the checkbox for "Enable tooltips." Eventually something unlocks checkboxes for automating skills, but the checkbox for showing "Raw XP Values" will be the easiest to unlock for this. This will level "Selecting" skill and requires the box to be CLICKED or the use of a AutoClicker.

In case of question about game and death - it says you have to "select", which is another skill you build by using a checkbox... ;-) As far as I remember, level 3 required to finish this task.

Well....spent a few days here....LOVE the game. Then accidentally douple clicked while resetting (the second time was HARD RESET based on screen shift). That's a stupid button to put anywhere.

Unlocking the first 5 levels of tooltips was fairly easy and can be done fairly early
1. Enhance for 4 research
2. The FAQ "Why are the tooltips blank?" points you in the direction of the first hint
3. Activate level 2 tooltips, and find the hint just like the first one, but this one is more elusive, it moves around randomly, and it's less straightfoward, so get a screenshot to figure it out.
4. Activate level 3, hunt for another elusive and even less straightforward clue and you definitely need to screenshot in order to crack the code
5. Activate level 4, go hunting and if you aren't having any luck, try hitting the reset XP counter button next to level 4, it seems to pop up more frequently after it's refreshed, grab your screenshot and don't overthink the hint, solving it is a lot less involved than the last one.
6. This one is a lot more complex and confusing, haven't cracked it yet

Also you need to have the god damn options menu from within the first like minute or so. Having to do this shit for 20 minutes just to transfer my savegame is pretty awful

Yeah it's asking me "What is the choice between this game and death". Maybe I can gather collecting? I don't know. The game needs to tell you a tiny bit more than not at all. Surprised I got this far to be honest

Game deving is no longer adding to total levels like it used to, and that has pretty much made it impossible to make any sort of progress. If this was an intentional bug fix and deving was never meant to add levels in the first place, then the multiplier for resetting needs a serious buff, because currently, if it takes me 2 hours to reach the reset goal, then it takes me 1 hour and 58 minutes to get back to that same level again, and then I have to grind out another 25

Things I currently can't figure out: Perfect item, Question Asking skill, tooltips other than the exp thing. Any ideas? For the perfect item I'm guessing either it needs to be above a certain level (I'm only lvl 9 crafting) or it requires one of those special titles on the item (dragon scale or whatever).

@Mophtran that's because you have negative skilling just keep at it and you will soon get back in the positives. Anyone know how to get the perfect armor having all 3 perfect didn't work plus I tried to get legit as a rank but I don't see it

I already got a major increase in the speed at which displeasing drops to zero from getting ACQUIRE FAMILY to 12 and when I tried your 'fact' I got no noticeable additional increase. (neither when reaching ten or while testing DISPLEASING level zero afterwards.)

getting lvl 10 on displeasing does seem to help... after a very LONG delay while you burn it off. Anyway I'm currently stuck at the perfect item - have one that's perfect x3 with maxxed stats but not working yet.
Btw at the dev, it would really help to have a way to autoclick for select and math. Also I'm sad that there isn't another tool tip bread crumb.

@SkyCharger001 I'm not sure what you mean by that, Displeasing decreases over time, and if you make it yellow it decreases faster. It sounds like you're referring to increases Train exp gains by having a higher Acquire Family...
I mean sure, pushing Displeasing to 10 will put Train in an exp deficit that takes a while to recover, but you can set Train to Auto Click and just ignore it...

BUG Report: OK I found why i got stuck into mining. I did not unlock the basic/options buttons but did unlock items, went into that and got stuck. You should make sure basic/options is unlocked before items !

Absolutely LOVE this game! Very clever mechanics. Very frustrating and slow at first, but very satisfying as you figure things out. Suggestion: PLEASE allow autoclick (or anything) for the Mathematetise. I will wait patiently for almost anything in this game, but I will NEVER do hundreds of math questions in the game. Anyway, job well done! Let the haters hate. Great game!

Getting Displeasing to 10 (making it yellow) makes it drain faster... so Auto Clicking Train will never displease your family... it's like "They lived with Ted Bundy for a while, I can't be worse... right?"

btw, hard reset is not really a hard reset like in other games. You keep some of your stuff and progress is way faster than it was originally.

Entering: upupdowndownleftrightleftrightba in the Math box will give the message: ive cheated?!!? well, that's cool -- and unlocks 'cheat coding'. Don't ask me how I found it. *shifty eyes*

I have two achievements: "long item naming" (made an item with a long name) and "achieving understanding" (for leveling understanding, you need an item with the knowledge pre/suffix type)

Uh oh, now I have the konami code thing and I also can't figure it out. Sigh... btw, has anyone gotten any exp in Question Asking yet? I still am lvl 0 at that.
