First, I loved the game. But I played 30 minutes to pass level 2 (with difficulty) and I prefer quit because level 3 is so hard.

Worst Feature: Collision box is your/zombies entire body, so you can't run close past them. That means the street is actually really narrow and passing between zombies is impossible = control skill is useless.

As few others stated here, badges are actually wrong here - the 3rd level is extremely difficult and medium badge was for me actually the hard one. Then, once you got sniper at 4 and especially flamwthrower at 5, the game is very easy and I easily beaten the hard badge ( made last level ) in an hour. But making 3rd level was a hell for me.

To go back at it, movement speed is terrible, no chance at all to recover if you happen to be in the wrong spot to gran an antidote. There is no choice to NOT drive the car and the fact that antidote only gets counted if you finish the level. Suck, Suck and more suck. I'm not looking for god mode or anything but with the flaws in this game it makes it much harder than it needs to be.

its impossible to get the acheivement unless your computer is fast and you have tons of skill i dont have either and im stuck at 190 antidotes and cant get past 2nd level

I think my chances of survival in a real zombie apocalypse would be better than my chances of getting the BOTD in this game.

To reiterate, just pass levels until you get the flamethrower, go back and get the antidotes. Making it difficult to control just to make the game harder = lame.

This gets infinitely easier after getting the flamethrower (after level 5 i think). Level 3 really is the toughest, it took me forever to beat it, but then I was able to collect the 50 antidotes easily.

I echo the frustration of people here. I think there are 10 antidotes per level and they are kind of like the pickups. Once you get them, you have found them for that level, so in the first three levels, there are only 30 antidotes to be found. Of course, I can't get past the third level.

You can go 'back' on the weapons list to the select level menu, use any weapon you've unlocked on the earlier levels. Also, level select displays antidote vials collected on highest run/possible.

This was not a very good game. the movement of the character is extremely bad. if you pass a antidote, you have no chance of getting it, and that is another problem, there were several times when 2 or more antidotes would be on the screen at once, and be quite a distance from each other. making it literally impossible to get both, and the zombies and obstacles are another factor that makes getting the antidotes even harder. it comes down to dumb luck mainly whether or not you can get all the antidotes on a stage. I didn't even bother replaying to try, it would just be a waste of time since if your unlucky they will pop up in a way you cant get them all. and the car addition was also a poor choice, it does not help you at all, its more like a pointless minigame. if you wanted to add it, that's what it should have been, maybe a minigame you would play between every couple of levels to transition into a new area, THAT at least would have made some sense. all in all, pretty bad game.

vonRibbeck. I beat the entire game in about an hour. You don't have to get all the antidotes in each level, only 50 total. Its really easy once you get the flamethrower. Kills everything pretty much instantly.

yeah -- full on joke for a BOTD. no upgrades, pure grind to get the achievements. if you had a BOTWeek, well, this would be a good contender. :\

This takes way too long for a BotD. After one hour I'm only through the first two levels with 20 antidotes, and there is no way in hell I'll try any longer than that. If there were at least some armor or health upgrades.

Other than being unable to move backward at a decent pace, this game is pretty enjoyable. Some of the guns could use a balance check though - it's weird to unlock a new gun that's overall less useful than one you unlocked 5 levels before.

Actually quite a fun game. I am not sure why every complains about the difficulty. It is kinda rough to start off but once you get the instant kill sniper rifle it just snowballs towards mines, rocket launcher and finally the flame launcher. Making the game super easy. Though the hit zones of the antidotes certainly could be a bit bigger.

I agree the movement are terrible...and that the game is 2stars maximum, but actually the first three level are really though, but after it's quite more easy...so just try hard and kill the zombies!!!

controls suck. player is too slow and shoots too slow. # of antidotes won't go above 22, so I'm guessing you need to get all 50 in a single run. Not impossible, but not very likely either.

Whoever designed the barrels that explode and only damage zombies was brilliant. Run to the barrel, shoot the barrel, kill the zombies around you in the spray of shrapnel and you come out unscathed.

this game is a shit. unplayable. no upgrades, zomies are strong and fast since the second level. pg is slow and weapon are unefficiet. don't play this game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it might be a decent game if you could upgrade the guy's speed and control accuracy as well as his weapons. it's like he decides when he wants to follow the controls, speed up or slow down.

BotD alternate tip: it's not immediately apparent, but from the weapon screen you can select BACK and choose earlier levels to replay. So if you don't want to advance through the levels just repeat a previous level for the antidote count.
