This is too monotonous to me, especially on point and click mode. Its been said many times before but the levels are too long, too easy, and too boring.

This game sucks they made levels too long and many people will give up not because of a challenge but because of a time wasting game. i rate game 6/100

Well, i don't see the motivation. The Level take too long and are very boring, there are no real differences between level 1 and level 7 except some flying dudes. Also it makes no sense that, when you destroy the castle nothing happens, but when you capture the flag you win. The game is in overall to slow.

Okay. So. Excellent game. I like this style, original, rewarding, bloody. Good graphics and nice set of difficulties. It can be calm and relaxing, (Point-and-click) Or insanely confusing. (In a good way)(Draw back) I love the music, the theme, and even the ghost of a story. All in all, 4/5.

My saved game isn't working. The skills autocast and the troops advance but it won't accept my mouse or keyboard input.

oisact that description of the big axe guy is scaring me from going to level 30...lol
other than the length of the levels i think this is a good overall game. 4/5

Yeah... the main idea of Bowmaster was realy cool, but the graphics sucked.... now with the Bowmaster Prelude, with graphics improved and extra stuff.... u made that piece-of-almost-nothing onto one of the best games i've ever played.

I just played this game on the author's website, and it looks so much better when viewed at the resolution it is designed for. I can actually see the health indicators, etc. Why does kongregrate have to size all the games and contort them to fit some arbitrary size?

The game ends when you beat level 30. I never could beat the big axe guy. If you hit him in the head with a bomb arrow when his helmet is off it will knock him onto the ground. I hit him 6 times like that and he still didn't die. However it bought my men enough time to capture the flag, so I won that way.

At level 30 this huge guy (almost as big as the castle) makes an appearance. I wailed on him for 10 minutes and couldn't kill him. When he swings his axe the earth pops up in front of him, causing damage. Then he takes off his helmet and wipes his face, which is when he is most vulnerable. Most of my arrows did 700+ damage but still couldn't take him down.

i started playing this on Saturday morning, and before i knew it, it was Sunday! Addicting, don't play this unless you have lots of free time!

some tips: avoid using soldiers, to get the economy bonus; get extra cash by shooting normal arrows at the enemy castle between waves, and try different aiming options in the options menu. auto-aim is almost too easy!

@Jarwain: well, you got to klick in the green circle and drag just like a bow. you can change the shooting style in the options menu on 'General'. I prefer 'drag anywhere'. great game btw :)
