Let's see. You've got
- Guybrush Threepwood from the Monkey Island series (as well as the three other characters, sort of)
- Simon the Sorcerer
- Rincewind
- Sam & Max
- From (World of) Warcraft: Goblin and Orc
Unsure where the sheriff/deputy-deputy-sheriff belongs and if the various bugs are taken from somewhere else as well.

Hey LU MUJA I try your all three games but I want the second chapter of dead detective , it is a nice game , and also you response on my comment , thanks for that . But this game is super. NICE WORK. Keep it up and please make that game some fast, I can't wait for that. Sorry for my bad english

Great game, but the Helpa logo sometimes obscures dialogue on the screen (for example, chatting with Throgg and his deaf-mute friend near the start of the game)

Not sure why, but when I reached the screen with the princess and the sword in the stone, my mouse disappeared. I could click around and the character would walk around the screen to where I clicked, but I couldn't interact with anything or leave. Paused the game and couldn't click any of the menu options either.
It's a problem that occurs since the new flash player plugin.
I've already fixed the problem for another version of the same game, I might fix this one too as soon as I have a little time..!

Cool game, i love point and clicks like this, but i couldn't make it past the Gnomekeeper screen due to the colored text against the background. I have an eye condition (which is basically causes a blind spot) and it makes it hard for me to read plain text at times even. (So its not you, its me lol) But it would be cool if somehow on future games you could make a dialogue bubble of a solid color and lay the text over it for us ocularly challenged folk. :)
I'm very sorry, it never crossed my mind. I used that kind of text because it's like a tradition for adventure games. I'll keep that in mind for my next game, though, I promise!
Really? Happy endings are so clichè!
Ahaha don't be too sorry for the protagonist, though... He might be able to escape when the sequel comes around. (Maybe)

lol what? i took the piece of the pirate's cloth to the "sheriff" and when the pirate was arrested, i tried going to the ship and the "where do you think you are going this is my ship" dialogue still played even without him being there whut?

OK, stuck. I already gave the wizard back the vial with one thing, so now I can't duplicate it (found out from the walkthrough). Not really going to start again for that. :(
I'm sorry you decided to stop playing for that, because that is NOT a game-breaking issue! The whole point of the game is, you have more than one solution for each puzzle; for example, you CAN defeat the hero in a duel fair and square, BUT you can also get him drunk! So no, you were not stuck, you can still finish the game! :)
I'm going to make more games, for sure! But they probably won't be classical point and click games like this one. Still, I hope you'll like to check those out, too
Thanks a lot for your compliments!

Still can't get on the ship after the pirate was arrested, I'm stopped as if the pirate was still there and still get his dialog popping up O.o
Humm, that's a real bug. The part where the dialogue appears even if the pirate's not there, I mean.
In the end, if you already have a pirate hat Ron wouldn't go on the ship anyway, so I guess this is not a game-breaking issue..
Thanks for playing :)

Humorous dialogues, alternate endings, obvious hommage with cameo appearances and parallels to oldschool adventures I've played 20+ years ago.... Life is great, so is this game: 4/5
Yeah, many references here are meant for the hardcore gamers of the old classics... I guess that younger players won't get all of them, but I'm glad you did!
Thanks for the compliments!

That's very true and I realized that after I started over. However, starting over and saving the game when I hadn't used the vials yet allowed me to beat the game in the other various ways. Great game by the way! I truly enjoyed it!

Bottled the yawn and gave it to the wizard before I duplicated it and now have to start over. I realize I shouldn't have done that but there also should be something in the game to prevent being stuck beyond repair.
I'm sorry you decided to start over, because that is NOT a game-breaking issue!

Well...that's meta as hell. Seriously though, I really like this game's style. I gave it a 5...although I gotta admit, I found it harder to "cheat" in every instance except in regards to getting the wizard wand, so when I got the "cheater" ending I thought "Man, I had to work hard to get this ending! Who are you to call me a cheater?!". Other than that it was pretty cool.
Thanks a lot, Uberpenguin!
But I actually made it so that "beating the game" is a little harder than "cheating the game": in the first case, you need more items and about 5-6 steps more.
I'm glad you liked the game! :)
Hello!
If you click in the options panel, there's a link to the walkthrough... there are three, one for each ending! You'll find the one you need no problem
Thanks for playing :)

Actually liked the dialogue - though I'd liked to have been able to click through it a bit faster (I read fast, sorry).
It did give the atmosphere. And a lot of it was very funny for those of us who like adventure games. Nice work.
Thank you for your nice compliments!
I actually made it so you have to click on the screen to skip dialogues especially for people like you (and me) who read fast!
But I think I might add a "skip" button for all the "long" dialogues.
Thanks again!

Very nice and classic P&C-Adventure, enjoyed it a lot. Several saving slots would be great, so you could better try to get the different endings. Definitely deserves more attention, btw nice voice-acting on the screams ;D
Yeah, you're right, there's a lot of dialogues, especially in the beginning.
I wanted to convey the story and the ambience the right way, but I probably overdid it.
However, once you pass the first two-three scenes the experience gets better, I promise :)
