Wankiest intro ever? Somebody watches WAY too much cheesy low-grade anime... The mechanics of the game were great though, makes it really hard to decide, love the game, hate the image? 4/5

geela: in the beginning it was tough to learn the controls but you get used to it.... i think the game is about mastering the movement of your ship/avoiding enemy fire... aiming is done automatically (i never use A and D to rotate my ship)

Very fun good game, and geela if you are mad at the controls then you should stick to the lesser, and more easier games cause i had no problem.

All Achievments, all weapons 99, upgrades 99, purchased all weapons
1; Strategy for Loki, use gatling gun, if you beaten him already don't use gatling beam, it misses too much

Optionally, you could just ignore the leading the target part and just assume your weapon targeting'll always trail behind a horizontally moving enemy. I didn't bother adjusting my path of fire, I just moved myself to an intercept course.
I liked the game overall... half wish there was a survival mode though. The final levels takes less than a minute after you unlock Loki.

easy way to get past that level 10 for u 2 is stand still lol dont run, for when theres 1 and 2 up stay in starting area and focus down the big cubes first, for the part with 3 move up even with them on the right side of the screen and all 3 will miss then focus big cubes and gg

for the last level in chapter 2 i used the tier 2 beam weapon and the fighter with regeneration, but still i took me a couple of tries till i finished it. in my opinion it is the hardest level ^^

Good game. I like the graphics, the control and the shooting style (where you need to move to the right spot if you want to hit the ennemi). The only bad thing is the unpredictability when the ennemi shoot (not the one that shoot when they die). You can't know when or where they will shoot... Other then that it's fun :).

Not sure of the point of the controls. Almost seems as if the controls were made counter-intuitively just to add difficulty. Moving on.

this...game...is...AAAAAAAWESOME!!!
XD but seriously, it's pretty cool. High-control movement system (though a little awkward at first), great gameplay. The only thing I can see wrong is that you never spell/grammar checked. there are a large number of mistakes with grammar and spelling. But other than that, 10/10

10/5 and about the controls, I agree with PloftKaploft: "If your ship was the mouse pointer, instead of following the mouse pointer, it would be too unrealistic. If you aimed with the mouse and moved with wasd/arrows, it would either be too slow or you wouldn’t have enough control over the ship." NEEDS BADGES (so I have a reason to max lvl my upgrades)

I agree with geela. It does seem reasonable that the controls should fit you before you attempt to challenge somebody. However, I must say, after playing the first few levels, it's somewhat easy. My tactic is to avoid the bullets while just pressing "w" to target. If you're targeting and moving, chances are you'll hit the target often. So, give the game a chance. It IS very well made, after all.

Its a very well made game, I will give it that. But there is so much to keep track of while playing the game it take away from the game itself. Most bullet hell type games do most of the work for you. They shoot for you and point you in the same direction. But this this game, you have to worry about when to fire, the energy to fire, what target you are locked on to, leading the target, avoiding the target, avoid the targets weapon, life meter and special weapon meter. It is possible to pull of, but then the game becomes about learning to utilize the controls in order to function properly and not mastering the game. A control scheme shouldn't be something you have to work at. After the first level you should be able to play the game with out thinking about the controls. I find my self very overwhelmed with whats happening, and I usually love bullet hell games.

I really want to like this game, because it looks very nice and seems like you worked really hard on it. But, for me the controls are irritating as hell. Trying to target enemies with the cumbersome "shooting offset" while moving with the mouse is absolutely maddening (especially considering that the targeting is done with the keyboard while the fire button is on the mouse...?). Why not just use the traditional WASD to move and mouse to aim/shoot setup? The way it plays now just feels like trying to write with your off-hand. Awkward and forced.

I think, that the people who think this game suck, is their way of showing their nerd rage for being too slow, or just cant handle the fast paced action.

Any game that makes use of an upgradeable mechanism, like Cube Colossus does, catches my heart. It actually abuses upgrades (to my delight): different cores and weapons, weapon proficiency and status upgrade.
Seems like the controls are object of criticism, but I can’t think of a way to improve them. If your ship was the mouse pointer, instead of following the mouse pointer, it would be too unrealistic. If you aimed with the mouse and moved with wasd/arrows, it would either be too slow or you wouldn’t have enough control over the ship.
So far I only reached stage 10 (tough to beat with AMU-02 using missiles), but plan to finish the game soon – with maxed upgrades! Thanks for uploading.
