Overdrive is a great way to not see what's happening. I also find the controls a bit awkward, but they're possible to get used to. The offset needs a sensitivity config, though, since I frequently overshoot even if I just tap it. It's also one of those games you're screwed if you happen to move the mouse outside the field, which is very easy to do.

Great game! It's like I'am playing one of those arcade shooters, but with a newer feel. 5 stars from me, though I'm having trouble playing because I'am on a laptop.

the evasion card does not say that i cant get hit, just say complete 1 act with full health so i made that with AMU 2 and used the special at the end of any act

Methinks Millie needs a WAAAAAmbulance :P Came for the Badge of the Day, stayed to finish it. Interestingly, although the offset aiming and no choice targeting bugged the hell out of me right from the start, it's perfectly playable with just the mouse if you use the right weapon for the level. Nice upgrades and a good balance 5/5

except for fanfir all the ex-weps are useless, and anfer getting fanfir even axia become useless, too bad you can´t toggle weapons a pwner combo would be excalibur and fanfir, and adding a challenge mode, like infinte waves or something like that would be really awesome, even locky with everything maxed can´t give a decent fight

I agree with Tarantus, using Valkyrie is how I beat both stage 20 and Loki. Best thing is that it allows, mostly, to hit 200k+ chains with impunity, making you get halfway there for an encore.

3 things make this suck:
1) Punishment for killing fast b/c of enemies that epxlode
2) %Q#%@ grindfest to get past impossible level 10
3) Crappy gamecode that lets you die while still having some shields left.
4) having to grind each weapon individually so if you want to switch types, 15 levels of grinding all over again.

This claustrophobic arena shooter presents a clunky aiming system that aims to be "unique", but (like your ship's gunner) it misses the mark, and where it lands is only uniquely frustrating. Because the energy mechanic doesn't let you fire continuously (and thus retain mouse focus by holding down the button), your ship will inevitably stop chasing your mouse when you are cramped near edges of the screen. To add insult to injury, the player is burdened with an unforgiving hitbox that's actually larger than the ship sprite. Meanwhile, those chaser enemies that fade in can actually spawn right on top of your ship, breaking your chains without warning. While the game engine remains impressive, the resulting gameplay experience is disappointingly inferior to the excellent Voidgale Arena, a previous game by the same author. 3/5.

after all that time it finally has badges, I guess it was worth the wait though. After all it is just one Awesome game.

I don't like the awkward controls, and it would be nice to be able to have a more standard space shooter set of controls like arrow keys to move and rotate and space to shoot. Another game with a generic upgrade system. I don't understand the cube enemies kind of boring but whatever It's not a bad game it's just not for me. However this game has some kick ass music.
