It's fun at first, but get's repetitive. I don't understand the tournaments because if you're busy training people, how can you get the time to do that? And, it get's exceedingly hard to reach the goal after it get's to 1000 above your origional fame, and about the max I can do a month is 300.

mirthstrike if u still dont know the apprentice is a very very strong person and is rare he is very strong if u have mages go to water front and lure him there then get to other side to kill him

Pretty good! True, it's a never-ending grind, but there's enough interesting stuff here to keep you entertained for a good while. 4/5

agree with the bad AI - i don't mind them getting stuck from time to time... but I do think they don't attack very much and they get stuck on weird things some times

kinda easy right now, i just started but what i did was i just spent money on one student every few times and errands PWN hunts. i found hunts pretty tough but errands easy.

I managed to accidentally kill the apprentice with two mana scholars as he couldn't get through the gap between two ponds.. very lucky! Took ages though.

the fame requirement is way too high. it makes you learn you need to save in the beggining, but after wasting your time on one file, you have no urge to play again.

It is fun but there are a few things I have problems with
the path finding is bad, most of the time trying to move my guys around they get stuck on objects and for most of the hunts this glitch has to be exploited to finish any of the hard hunts. also most hunts start with you surrounded by enemies meaning that your group can be decimated before you can act.

I love this game. The animation is my favorite, it's a great main menu, and wonderful concept. I feel like this game could go to more. I am a little amazed that you can only have 8 slots for students. I also love this game because you can name characters etc. It's a truly great game, I love it. 5/5 + fav'd

LOL. The apprentice... All my people are level 1. I have my mage behind a lake and the apprentice walking INTO The lake and not around it... :3. Btw, 4/5, You missed the 5 because of the pain and irratation of getting enough Fame on the 2nd Month. It's really annoying and irratating. >_<

I think I'm missing something here, my fame won't raise above 100. I can graduate my characters, do loads of quests, but nothing will improve it.

i recommend using the idle stance and directing your students individually using 1/2/3/4 with that i avoided having students doing nothing

Kay So Here is what needs to be changed. First, Make graduating people mean something later, even if its just a letter from the king to show how well your doing with your training. For example, Most of your students have become exceptional heroes. With the exception of who died in battle due to poor training. Also, make the aprentice make sense. I killed him 3 times. Got nothing for it. Not even recognition. Make runes give bonus fame. That will fix the issue people have with not getting enough but keep battles strictly for xp. More tiers. What is the point of telling your guy its okay to move on when there is only 1 step for him to move to based on his starting stats. More tiers or classes. Make it like a tier tree, not a linear path. Make battles more exciting. Boss battles perhaps. Dont make the game about pumping people out as fast as you can but make it about helping the kingdom by training heroes to help the battle against some invading force. APPLY THESE

enemy apprentices are invincible? i got a 1 star mission but instead an apprentice come, he got stuck on a corner and its more than 10 minutes that my 4 mages are damaging it for nothing...

Why does this game hate me so? I need to graduate 3 or 4 students each month just to keep up. I'm on month 8 and there's no way I'm going to be able to go the whole year without failing a month. And then all the monsters respawn right around me so all the one's I'm trying to train up get killed instantly. THIS GAAAAME!!

Eh, seemed like a good idea, but there are a lot of glaring flaws. As has been mentioned, the intermittent fame checks are annoying, especially early on when you have no way of gaining fame very well. Combat is terrible, are they even doing anything? Some of my guys just hang out off to the side and don't seem to be doing anything, or they get stuck on inanimate objects and I have to go back and circle around behind them to get them to join the class. And what's "The Apprentice"? If he's some uber character, should he be appearing in 4-star quests when my guys are only level 10-11? He wiped them out with 2-3 hits each. Kinda kills the "fun" factor. Irritating. Interesting concept though. 3/5

Maybe whoever started this academy should have studded English harder. Normally I'd ding ya -1 star for that but because it's a school-game, -2.

I've been sitting here playing this game for two hours already without badges. I say, much like the long list of those before me, rebalance the fame requirement and give us some badges and I could easily see myself playing a lot of this game. I love the mechanics.

I lost several of my students in the battles because half of them were ignoring my commands and the other half just stood still.

just killed the apprentice in week 4 of the first month with a level 4 starting sorceress lady. all i did was immediately run behind some water and he got trapped after killing the rest of my team =)

Fame req is a little heafty, especially if you miss a month. Either quests need fame or the amount it goes up needs to be toned down. Also no path finding for the chars is just lazy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fame per month scaling is way too high. Can't actually play the game because I have to worry about having enough to advance. Also, I agree, some of the errands (relocating drakes) and hunts (hold the meteor, map the magic) should provide you ambient fame bonuses.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
loved the gameplay in the first year, but the farther you get the more difficult it gets to keep the fame up... 1k++ fame in 4 weeks? no chance! can't even train a single student to lvl 10 in that time... =/ add "easy" difficulty pls.
