There should be more space for students and more students in the shop. On my last week and month of year 1, I accidentally graduated 2 spares thinking that I could still graduate my remaining 2 level 30s which would be more than enough for the hard badge. To my horror, I realised that there were now 4 members left in my party, and I couldn't graduate any of them, because the shop had run out of spares to replace them. I can't believe I invested so much time and planning just to not get the hard badge because of stupid game design. Or rather, stupid badge design. At least add a save feature and not autosave if these things happen.

killed the apprentice, my mana scholar went from 4 to 30, upgraded her weapon to 9, 700+ with 50% fame bonus, that helped out alot for the first year ^^

Not a bad game, confusing at first since the instructions weren't that direct but once you get used to it, it's a great game to play. Pretty fun, controls are easy, and I'll give it a 5/5. Good job!

The best way to deal with the psycho apprentice is to get him to rush into a thin bit of water, then pick him off with long range attacks while he rages at the small ditch.

You should be able to graduate all your students. I fail the hard badge because I cant graduate anyone else as ive used up all replacements for the month >.< yet the month is ending and ive got 1000 gold

I was able to get all the badges on one playthrough....still took a while. Pretty fun, a little repetitive since the gameplay never really changes.

Just found a giant flaw in this game, I were had just came up with a brilliant strategy and i would have gotten the hard achievment. But when i were gonna graduate my students i needed replacements and i couldnt afford replacements. WTH do i need replacements??? god i will just quit this game and most likely never play it again out of pure frustration...

This doesn't seem very balanced, although admittedly I haven't played all classes yet. Sorceresses are extremely powerful, especially when coupled with a healer. Btw, 1 healer and rest newbies is a good way to train on hunting missions. Or 1 healer, 1 sorceress and 2 newbies for hard missions.

Wow, definitely not what I thought it would be when I read the description. I was actually expecting and hoping for a game where you ran and maintained a school. As it got bigger you got more students and needed more teachers and would lose if your school became too expensive to run or the collective GPA dropped to low... I am disappoint.

Why am I paying for students to enroll in one of the finest acadmies in the kingdom? Shouldn't the students be the ones paying for their own education, not the Principal?

I almost scrolled down fast to say "STOLEN!" flag this, and go on with my life, but i had the sense to look at the upload date. I wish kong would stop scaring me like this. >_<

I played this when it first came out and liked it. Matter of fact, I like it now. It is in no way "easy" being that you will always lose eventually... the question is how long you can keep it going. With respect to the previous comment by Darkaros, I've gone over 3 years before, so kindly stow the "it's easy" talk and try a bit harder.

why do level 30 students still have that little green level-up icon? and why can i grade-up without clicking OK, but I can't test weapons the same way? (i.e. am forced to click the OK button to cancel the dialog - when burning $1k on weapon training, gets annoying)

This game is REALLY easy if you know the mechanics. Out of all the quests, the Wolf one that's 4 stars gives the biggest LP- 7000+. The Orc one and the Seductive Mistresses one give the second highest, 6000+ (also both 4 stars). The only 5 star hunt quest, killing angels, gives a pitiful amount (only about 4000 despite being much harder) and errand quests are only good for early game leveling of weak units (try to get a "Nice!" rating by sending one or two high level or skilled units; even then, its only about 2000 LP). Also, ONLY graduate students if they get the 50% bonus. Yes, even high level ones, it's worth it. Right now I'm in year 2 month 3 and I've got a buffer of 5000 fame before I lose because of this method, with 2 maxed out units and 550 income.

Raise 3 of them to level 30, and keep selling the 4th at lvl 10. Then sell one of the 30es. Always keep it at that. Keep 2 level 30, raise a 3rd to 30 and then sell and the 4th always sold at lvl 10 (after class change). If by the 4th week you think you can't make it with your fame, buy every apprentice you havent yet and graduate them for +- 80 fame.
With this you should do fine with gold and fame (because with 2 30es you can go for the harder missions), enough to get the hard badge.
(+) if you think this helped.

the apprentice's greatest weakness, being on the other side of the river *watches noob students whittle down the hp* XD

There is a some video on youtube which shows how to program so that the mouse does the "ghost effect"... the mouse icon just turns out to be the same exact sprite...

The graphics are pretty good, the gameplay not so much. The controls are frustrating, and the menu layout could be improved (why do we have to go to the character screen for each character and mash grade up? why can't it just to it by itself? is there another use for LP? If so, at least make it so you could switch between character screens with the arrow keys instead of this ridiculous process). Furthermore, I'd like there to be a way to get back to the main menu from the game. I was playing sandbox mode when I decided I wanted to move on to official arc, but because I can't do that from the game screen, I'm just going to stop playing this game instead.
