Got the hard badge first try. Awesome game, but a tad too easy. Except the Apprentice. :P Getting a feel for which stats lead to which secondary class is the key to keeping above the Fame requirement.

U get fame by graduating students, who u have trained through erands and quests before. For those who have probs in starting the difficult mode... here a short guide :
training 2 charas , 1 chara is trained to but sellable for high fame rate, and 1 chara (P4) u train 1 week then sell it... after 1 week he should be around lvl 5 or 10 and brings u good fame. P 1 and 2 are not selled cuz these u use to finish even hard quests... and P3 is used when u get a high fame rate
hint 2 : u can buy a chara for 102 gold (or something around it) and graduate it for 52 fame, so u get fast fame
hint 3 : hunts gives u tons of LP , but no Gold... so do Errands too....gold is important !!! (look up hint 2)
hint 4 : what ever u do..get a healer as P2 and an attacker as P1 (or other way around) then u can do even hard hunts.
Hope it helped a lil bit, Oh and of cause rate this comment that everyone can see the hints , and a game with awsome Background music 5 / 5

How the hell do you get fame? I keep doing quests, but I won't get fame.. PS: Instead of downrating this, for once just help..

god damn it. this game gets so hard towards the end when trying to get the hard badge. i had to sell EVERY unit i had to reach the fame requirement and next thing i know, im in the field with a bunch of level 5's and "the apprentice" (of amazing HP) appears....

Woo in the first 1k to the hard badge.
I would suggest taking 1 unit to level 30 duelist then have him and 3 low levels in your group. A maxed lvl 30 duelist can take on a 5 star mission by himself allowing all your level 1s in group to reap the benefit.
Try to keep a wide variety of classes available and always fulfill the requests.

the thing that i hate about this game is the starting spawn place , can we atleast have a safer place to start rather than being surrounded all of sudden ?

I encountered the Apprentice on my second mission of all time. Not knowing what he was, I rushed at him ; my own two lvl 2 App got killed. But the enemy got stuck between two spots of water, and my lvl 1 spell casters could attack freely without being hit. It's been seven hours now..

The Apprentice was block by river, and my students was at opposite side of river.
The Apprentice keep trying to run through the river, and my students keep attacking him with guns and magic. Finally they killed the apprentice without taking any damage. >w<

Nice concept, but the fact that you had to come up with a user-centered-way to unstuck his own characters rather than fixing the pathing problem detracts from the experience.

@ 2MyHeart - If all you see for enroll is I've changed my mind then you don't have enough gold to hire them. The button for enroll only appears if you can afford it.

Here are some tips for the hard badge.1)Women are extremely overpowered in this game. A party of 1 Mirage Caster, 2 Magilancers and 1 Sorceress is all but unbeatable. 2) Hunting quests give far more experience but Errand quests give more gold so pick accordingly. 3) There is no need to do 5 star quests, the 4 star wolves quest is the best for xp although I warn you they will swarm you at the start which is a problem for weak parties. 4) As for the actual fame you're just going to have to buy, train and graduate people non-stop. It's a bit of a grind. And don't forget to enter the tournament for 300 fame(winning). + if this helps.
