Description

"How will you counter bullet hell without any gun?"

Hiya all, our unordinary theme today is 'gunless' :). How does that feel to be the one of the "unarmed enemies" you destroyed in the other shooter games?

=====

Control a gunless ship. Evade thousands of enemies' bullets. Use Energy shield that can absorb and repel their projectiles to destroy themselves. Endure endless enemy waves and see how far can you go. Try to progress further with upgrades and achievements!

Development site: http://fandrey.lucidrine.com/

How to Play

- Mouse to navigate your ship
- Hold left mouse button to deploy your shield
- Release left mouse button to blast your shield (releases bullets absorbed and reflects nearby bullets as well).
- P to Pause
- M to switch Music on/off
- S to switch SFX on/off
- V to switch voices on/off

Wow. I haven't played a Flash action game with swift, fresh gameplay like this since Amorphous+.

Hahahaha, lvl33.
Awesome, great music and sound effects.

I find it interesting that while enemy bullets are colored (which is absolutely necessary for dodging bullets of a specific color), the enemy ships themselves aren't. This makes it virtually impossible to avoid specific ships, and so I can make stupid mistakes like releasing bullets right on top of a ship that explodes with 8 EM bullets. Of course giving ships colors would mean too many distracting colors at once, but I find this interesting =).

Great game, I got deflect range to lvl 3 after the first two plays, then got 41000 upgrade points on my next try. The upgrades are not too slow, you just have to pick the right one. Excellent gameplay. I wish there were more options for difficulty, I enjoyed the faster pace but hated waiting through 10 phases to get there. I agree the energy bar, health, etc was in a bad position though. move to top or sides would be better
