Description

This a simple bacteria simulator based on the *random* stimuli from the virtual environment (black space) into bacterias and its following reaction according the *DNA code*.

How to Play

To highlight different kinds of bacteria, the DNA code is based on the RGB code for pixels colors.

When a bacteria self-duplicate, the child will have a random bit mutation on the DNA code.

Every turn the number of news bacteria grows up, but all bacterias born with maximum of 255 points of energy.

The energy is a basic unity to a bacteria do something, each bacteria have on its DNA the cost of energy to do tasks, if the energy points go to 0 the bacteria dies.

A turn just finishes if there is no bacterias alive.

Every time a bacteria can move in the X and Y axes, if in this future position there is another bacteria they will fight for the place, the winner will recive the loser's energy. Also if there is a food (blank point) in the position the bacteria will earn 255 points of energy.

DNA instructions:
RGB is compost of 6 hexadecimal digits, 2 for Red color, 2 for Green and 2 for blue.
R: 1° Digit -> ATTACK POWER & 2°-> Digit to DEFENSE POWER.
G: 1° Digit -> Energy consume & 2° ->Time to duplication cycle.
B: 1° Digit -> Filter in the X axis & 2° -> Filter in the Y axis.

Control Panel:
To play another turn, you just need to click in the Start button.
There is a checkbox to auto play turns always with the last survivor's DNA, with this option you can see the *virtual selection* happening.
