Very frustrating. COULD be a fun waste of time. So much wasted potential. Pros: Nice big world, easy to play. Cons: Pretty much everything else. No stat info (like str/dex) despite the fact it clearly exists. No XP 'bar' or other indicator. No story. No character profile in an RPG?! No preview info for weapons/armour. No sell system. Huge deviation in enemy strength, and most enemies way overpowered. No way for a melee fighter to do much in this game, almost all fighting (except the first island) MUST be done long range. If you have sound, a mute button is a must. Add WASD compatibility. All I can think of for now. THIS GAME COULD BE GREAT!

My map broke, the minimap won't reveal if I pass a specific point and the monsters are all stunned in there until I hit them out of it.

I found a rather strange bug.
I went to the south end of the map and got stuck on top (!) of a plant, so I saved and refreshed the browser. When I continued the game, all of a sudden I hit every enemy in range and instantly killed it, even, when I didn't see / face them. It sounded like I would hit them many times directly in a row without delay.

Cool boomerang trick: Fling one boomerang at an enemy, then run away to another enemy and fling one boomerang. Keep running away from the incoming boomerang until you have 4 or 5 following you. Now switch to any other weapon (preferably the "halbeard") and you're a devastating killing machine!

Well, I did everything, bought everything... Boomerang might be nice, but by the time I got it (expensive), I wasn't impressed. My std. equip is the Spike Helm (+attack), best avail armor, and the Halbeard (sic). Halberd is the only weapon I found that hits -through- obstructions. Bows and Boomerang don't. That means the only threat left are enemies that fly over bushes/trees/etc. i.e. Bats. If for some reason I needed more distance, the Magic Bow was nice for that, since it, at least, is accurate. The Magic sword might be the strongest weapon, but it was such close range the enemy injured me every time I used it. Minor complaint: wish I'd found the Anchor relic *before* I'd explored 70-80% of the water...

Don't kill bats over trees!!! Even though bats can cross trees you can't. Luckyly for me the bat only droped a gold coin. Please fix that loot can drop on trees where you can't collect it. Or - much better - increase the pick up radius of items.

I notice a lot of people seem to underestimate the usefulness of the Halbeard(which should be spelled Halberd but I digress). It hits almost as hard as the magic sword and can attack from 2 spaces away so you can avoid being hit much more easily.

I found the vial of poison, it killed me, I hit respawn, I respawned in the same place I died and I couldn't even move or click any menus. I like the graphics, though. 2/5.

The absolute most awful thing about this game is having to resail to every damn island. 90% of the game is travelling back...

Huh. I hit "new game", the "new game" buttons and stuff disappear, and it shows me flickering weapon icons in the top left...but the game doesn't start. Weird.

VOLUME, Mute, something please. Games without volume control of any kind, why? I listen to music on my computer while I'm playing. Don't you? A pretty cool game other than that.

Is is a glitch?? i loaded it and i killed a monster i found the 'bracelet of death' and i just walked in to monsters they die...?????

Update: Flying boomerangs that are following you seem extremely lethal... They are of great use, only if you can adjust your position so that they will hit the enemy.

This game is great. I would recommend spending some time training and getting chainmail and a decent weapon like the sword before you actually start trying to defeat the stronger enemies and leave the first island. 5/5 for a job well done.

whats amazingly pro is throwing a crap-ton of boomerangs and then keeping at such a distance that they dont go back to you and disappear but they follow you, so you just make them hit enemies by maneuvering the boomerangs to the enemies for amazing sexy dmg

How do people become such pro's at making these flash games? I've spent five months trying to learn flash, and I can't produce half these results.

Halberd and boomerang are pretty great, halberd can hit over obstacles and walls etc. Boomerang can end up with multiple following you

I can't say much good about this game, I did spend a considerable ammount of time on it however - just to see if there actually was anything somebody missed.. a boss, some kind of plot a story line or even a secret shop.
No.
Searched the entire map. No fog left on my map. Nothing to be found however.. Boring.
31/31 quests.. 11k gold leftover after purchasing everything.
A brief guide : Buy the boomerang, attack stuff and move away quickly.. you can stack boomerangs behind you.. Kite them into groups of mobs. Rinse repeat, win.
2/5 - A fair rating for a mediocre 'RPG' with no storyline or bosses.

Okay my biggest problem is the enormous lag I get, I don't even know if it's the game's fault.
Next problem, and this is a serious problem, it doesn't save potions... what the hell?
Enemies getting stuck and dropping loot i can't get also blows.
Other than that, fun times

ok, distraction. I like the openness but a few things bugged me: 1)I wish you could see the whole map, or at least be able to scroll between different parts of it. 2) the mouse control gets annoying quickly. 3) I have no idea what my stats are, how high any of them are or what they do. All I know are the bonuses I have from quest items which doesn't really tell me much. And 4) I like the gold/exp penalty for dying but I would like to be able to tell what my xp is. Maybe it's just me but I like to know how close I am to levelling in a rpg.
