PS: You don't always need to hit the save button before you reload but it does help so that you will keep all your found items. Otherwise you will need to find the items again but the order will have changed so you might not find some items until the end of the game.

Try reloading the game after buying a new melee weapon: club, big axe, magic sword...to name a few. After reloading you will be able to kill monsters without running up to them. If more than one monster is within your area you only need to hit one and they will all be hit (I have hit up to 7 at once). If you check your equipment (equip button) or look in any shop you will lose this ability and need to reload to get it back. The other thing that will happen is that the monsters will run away from you and die after you kill the first monster after a reload. It looks cool when you have the reveals monster quest item, you can see the monsters dieing as you walk around the islands. You will still have to fight an occasional monster. The best weapon for this is the magic sword, it hits at a high of 40.

killing your first slime=0 gold 2 minutes of your day
killing your first enemy on a new island with your new boomerang=3000 gold 10minutes of your day
killing the last enemy on the same island using only the boomerang you used on the first enemy= priceless

...ACROSS the ocean the Barbarian came. His mighty Halberd hewed through the walls of our homes, smashing our Golden Statues. Behind him followed a trail of Boomerangs that littered our fields with our dismembered corpses. He scoured our island clean of resources, bought out our shops, and genocidally murdered every living creature on our island. When he finally turned into a Boat and sailed onward, he left only a barren wasteland scattered with Healing Potions, with none of us left alive to use them.

Boomerangs are OH SO EXPLOITABLE, and because of that, it's the most powerful weapon in the game. Don't know what I mean? Well, I'm sure you already know about the glitch where you can run away from multiple boomerangs. But THERE'S MORE. When there are still boomerangs on screen, you can equip a more powerful weapon, like the magic sword, and each of the boomerangs will now be as powerful as that weapon. NOT ONLY THAT, but you can make the boomerangs stop following you by running far away from them, but they're still there when you walk back. Which means you could like, create another boomerang death machine, walk back and have them combine to become twice as powerful. Just so long as you don't get stopped by a bush or a dead end.

does the tutorial shop guy look like he's dead? and if he is, why do you still have to pay for boat? i mean he's dead, nothings gonna stop you from stealing it, and whats a dead guy gonna do with money?

-very addicting gameplay, if a little easy
-running with 20 boomerangs following you and killing everything is amusing
-awesome ending
loved it.

I have to give it a 3/5 due to the same problem Rain_King has. At times it runs fine then the FPS drops considerably, no matter what I do. And I'm on a relatively powerful PC so I know it isn't that.

Seems to take an inordinately large amount of processing power. Also, sometimes I get "stuck" going in one direction until I press an arrow key in the opposite direction.
