Nice sequel, Better music, and I like it that the technology has advanced. Problem is, the stages are a bit too long and a bit hard to be honest. If the stages are going to be that long, they at least ned save points. 4.9/5

"Oh look I'm a flying samurai with a anachronistic jetpack, and even if you do defeat me, you will be so bored with repeatedly clicking and dragging your mouse, you will give up the game in digust and go play something entertaining, like the first and better SHS game." -should be the first boss's dialogue.

I loved the first SHS, because slashing lots of guys in one swift stroke was a lot of fun. The movement controls were sub-par, but that was ok because you didn't need to maneuver much. But in a game where the movement controls are not the focus, platforming is the LAST thing that needs to be added.

"The enemies attack much faster than you in this one. There really is no chance to dodge, that's why there is a continue button for when you die. 3/5 for trying, -2 for extreme difficulty and the thing where your character waits a few seconds before disappearing."

Errm, I forget, at what point in feudal Japanese/Chinese history did we invent FCKING LAZERS, Personal JETPACKS and ROBOTIC LIGHT-SPEED TRAVELING ROBOTS!?
Needless to say, flawed in many ways. The game put an over-heavy emphasis on your new areial based attacks, a definate plus, except for the fact that YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO ENDS UP GETTING LAUNCHED IN THE AIR PAST THE 2ND STAGE!
After that, there was just no point in air based combat except to fight the neverending somehow-existant JETPACKERS!

Not very fun at all. It needs a movement system that doesn't include using the sword. Should be able to chain/queue attacks instead of canceling out the previous attack. Better artwork, less tedious enemies, shorten the levels, maybe add some sort of improvement system, and you'll have a game. I just don't see the point in playing it. 1/5

Literally no matter what you do you will take endless damage the further into the game you get. And it has no strategy to it, there's guys in the air and on the ground and they all move so fast that you can't gather where they all are in time before they are all in another spot.

Control system is inadequate for complexity of enemies. I failed to attack on many occasions because my cursor went outside the border of the game, stopping the attack.

It just does not respond well. The worst part was trying to platform. You should not try to move the character with just the mouse. Add arrow key movement or somthing if you have to. Could also use some more eneny types. When it played smoothly fighting against various foes was a blast. The levels should be shortened. I would rather play a short fun game than a game with tacked on content. 3/5

First one was better so far, at second stage boss. He seems really finicky about what counts as a slash here, I keep falling into the pits, regardless of efforts.

I liked the first one better! It had some strategy and I loved that tid bit of it... Yet this one is all just hack and slash and no matter what I get damaged! In the first one I at least felt like I failed at doging instead that it was the games fault... But thats just probably me 3/5

ending sucked so much more then the first one but the flying thing was interesting and shunpo mode was annoying to use
