Also Thought about it and there should be a way to clear a planet, w/o having to empty all the cache for other games.

Since last update (20140302) Game is now no longer playable due to update speed being once ever 30 sec to 5 min.
score was 5/5 now 2/5

Dev, you say that the logging is going on due to too much population and too little civility, but how do we stop that, when even if you increase intelligence as much as possible, you -still- can't get enough villages/cities to raise their civility, and people just crop up in random places (sometimes in the thousands) outside of cities?

very good game but not very well balanced gameplay, in the first few minutes I was building cities before my oceans were finished, then i spent 30 minutes trying to grow populations, wondering how I'm supposed to get 1000000000 planet points for modern cities, air quality is confusing, i build cities then i discover i need air quality for high population but all my cities were built on wasteland/sand/grass/forest and have low air quality, eventually I buy more intelligence and build a city on a rainforest with 98.8% air quality then i come back and discover it has dropped to 97%, I think it would be better if air quality spread around with the wind and stuff and you could get more, more villages, more, more population and more planet points from villages, maybe put cities somewhere between villages and modern cities and get even more population from cities (millions), roughly representing real world population growth through the ages, I don't know

If there was another way to zoom in/out the planet other than scrolling would be much more convenient. AS3 apparently doesn't "lock" scrolling into the Flash movie while AS2 does. hmm

Currently (2-28-2014), the easiest way to increase population in larger cities is via humidity. This is important mainly to reach the 1 mil population for future city. You can zoom with scroll wheel to make those pixels visible.

Would love to see progress:time graphs for overall, or just villages (changes after certain upgrades). Would be nice to see how different upgrades affect things.

hey dev, would it be possible to make left/right keys scroll the planet instead of holding the mouse button? it's kinda annoying when you're clicking fast and you accidentally scroll the planet and lose the pixel. plus, it's not like you'll want to move the planet sideways, so the left/right keys aren't really being used.

Civility for Furture Cities is fixed now (thanks!), but population is still declining in the Future City and in the Modern Cities that are next to it.

One more suggestion? Ability to lock planet movement (toggle on/off) as it's very easy to accidentally 'wiggle' it around when clicking and zoomed in.

I don't often go "OMG!" when I see a game's been updated, but... And mouse scroll zoom too? Wish I'd thought of that :P Ah well, there goes the weekend :D TY Luts!

those village people must have teletransporter technology, because they were logging a rainforest some 20-30 pixels away...

there seems to be a problem with forests and rainforests losing flora over time after a while. when they're out of flora, they revert to grass and don't regain flora naturally. if you add more flora to this grass, to turn it back into forest, it still keeps losing it.

LUTS91, it doesn't look like it is fixed yet. I just re-loaded and made a new Future City and the same thing is happening. Civility has already dropped to 8300 and still falling, even though it was resting at 9767 back when it was a Modern City. Also, the population is not increasing, which it is supposed to right? Plus, the Modern Cities next door to the Future City lost some civility and are currently losing population instead of gaining it like they were before I upgraded the Future City.

Just so it is in one place: The type of village/city you have is determined by the civility rating for that spot. Civility increases naturally up to a cap based on what the spot is, or you can increase it with the civility clicker. Villages form based on your intelligence skill. If you wait long enough, villages can naturally reach a cap of 100 civility, or you can click them up. At 100 civility, the village turns into a City. Cities have a civility cap around 980 and don't seem to ever naturally go above that. If you click them up over 1000 they turn into Modern Cities. Modern Cities cap around 9300-9700, depending on the spot. If you click them over 10000 (I had to go up to 10300 to make it work) they turn into Future Cities. The higher cities give you more points for the city, plus faster population growth.
