Well I am in the campain about the win this round and the computer decided to stall his turn and won't make his move...

This reminds me of the card game in the Wizardy series. Fun but needs better pacing. In the the Wizardy game you got resources every turn.

Maybe there should be a card limit to this. Playing on hard, had the computer use the Curse card on me two times in a row, waited a turn, and used it again. Just a thought.

Catastrophe. It's hard to make the sequel worse then the original by removing what was good, but you managed it. - Resource inaging is MUCH worse then it was, on original Castle Wars it was naturally obvious how much resource and production speed you have, now it takes ages and a pain to figure. - OK, good to have the old Crucifix business removed, however, there's nothing added to compensate for it. Now the "midrange" deck is pretty much the only one possible. Some balance.

I love this one, but I miss the fact that you could greatly tell when you had your castle almost to one hundred. This one doesn't have the "Huge castle" look. But, other than that, awesome! Just as I would have expected, cause the first was awesome as well! (: 5/5

Clicking on card info and then back on the card, and then back on done is way too time consuming just to see what it does. Also, the castles need to grow to full height. Also, the icons at the top are kinda hard to see what they do at first glance. Maybe stack vertical or something? It's hard in it's current form to quickly glance up and get a lot of information quickly.

As great as number one! (5/5) Let's play it a lot so Kongregate can see it's a good game so we can get a lot of badges :D
PS. Aneglo, you need to discard something to skip a turn

first playthrough was way too easy, 2nd playthrough just sucks. 50% chance of being dead 3rd turn. what the hell were those ppl thinking?

After playing hundreds of games of the first castle wars, I gotta say the Curse card is way overpowered (based on price). The hard difficulty is merely a race to the bottom as AI keeps __ sacrifice and curses. Game takes WAY too long to build back up resources to increase workers.

5 thiefs, 5 recruits, 5 guards, 5 roadblock, 5 mage, 5 pixies, 2 magic wall, 5 magic defense, 5 add weapons, 5 add crystals, 5 add bricks, 1 all crystals, 5 builder, 5 tower, 3 tavern, 5 house, 3 babylon, 4 wall, 1 school, 2 fence, 3 wain, 1 all bricks, 4 large wall.
beat the game with that and havent lost a single battle. luck may have played in a role in that, but the deck works for beating the game (not necessarily the most optimized one)

This game is a step backwards. All you have to do is horde the most efficient + castle cards, in addition to Magic Weapon + Ambush. Boring game gets boring. Needs balance, like making the +1 Builder/Mage/Recruit cards not suck so much. It takes 9 turns to make back a use of the cards. I'm usualy done in 15 turns so wha'ts the point. Also the discard function needs to be limited down to 2 cards at most, if not just 1 card/turn. It's too easy at the moment to spam discard until you get the cards you want. At the moment my deck size is down to 60 cards. I won against the last stage campaign "boss" in under ten turns by spamming discard and getting Magic Weapons + Ambush.

1/5 cause the f*cking game isn't loading. probally cause i'm using an old version of internet explorer...
still, this shouldn't happen

The cards should give you the details on mouse over, and not go to a separate info mode. Icons in the upper right need tool tips. Lots of fun. Great improvement over the first.

I really like the addition of being able to discard 3 -- I find myself doing that sometimes instead of playing a card!
