OMG! If you`re gonna make a sequel to a game it should still keep some of the essentials! Did you notice how big 100 stories is! In the first it`s realistic but this one it looks like 20 storeys! And the resource bar was better where it was before! All in All. 3/5

A couple of small notes (bugs?): A "magic weapon"ed Quake I used on the computer opponent did [at least] 55 points of damage, destroying him, when it should have done only 54 (27x2). Also, only the first musical "track" seems to loop... The others seem to come to an end and stop.

It would have been really nice to see some difference in gameplay mechanics between this and the first one, rather than just tarting up the presentation.

guess i need to play in ninjakiwi to see multi-player mode to see if there is this feature, but i'd say that it wud be nice to be able to choose different objectives like castle size that needed to win, what u guys start with, getting ur castle down won't kill u (unlimited castle size is useless as we all know ^^), limits to stuff and such things (if u have that kind of stuff there already, then don't mind that)
(didn't play yet, but seemed nicely done and those mochi coins haven't ruined the gaming experience as i expected as i first thought when i saw those were in use. btw those coins only unlock stuff faster and 2 more castles with 3 cards that don't rly give an advantage. so those won't affect in gameplay at all ^^)

I think that this game sucks. I dont really like card games that go in with war and the grpahics suck dirty balls. Another problem is the difficulty gets harder and harder. This game is a waste of time.

The game can get addicting in the begganing but later you relize theres a lot more stuff that need impovement. Like more resource options it would be nice if there were maybe five resources instead of three and they had color. or the difficulty at the begganing of a battle when your struggling to gain resources to actually be able to attack or defend. or the nice feeling you got in the first game where your castle towered over top of you enemy because in this game gaining 20 feet to your castle looks like your castle only gained 2 feet.
Now those things i listed would be a real improvement if they ever made a Castle Wars 3.

There's a glitch with one of the cards - the sacrifice builder is supposed to kill 2 of the opponents builders but only kills one. So therefore its one for one. Sort it out.

Have to agree with complaints about the difficulty curve. You start off so weak in even medium that it's a struggle to do anything at all much less stay alive.

Very nice update. The graphics are fun. The new variety of cards is good to have. Unfortunately the status bar is a lot harder to read.

I just adjusted my deck but I can't figure out how to go back to actual game play...other than using refresh. Is there a better way?

I love Castle Wars and am very excited about Castle Wars 2...except, after playing the first tribe the game got ridiculous. The computer opponent immediately crushed me to my knees but won't just finish me off. It keeps discarding useful cards instead of playing them on me.

mattrimx said "So, I'm on the last battle, about to win, and I think I made the enemy run out of cards, and it froze. Anyone else experience this?" The exact same thing just happened to me. Oh well. Time to restart yet again. Bugs made me lower the rating.

i thought the display was hard to read and kind of confusing at first. Also it wasnt really much different from the original... the animations made it kinda fun and you added a few more cards but other than tht its really thesame thing. i didnt like tht you had to click info anytime you wanted to know about a card. It would of been better to state what the card did on it or have a window pop up when your mouse was over it

the MEDIUM single player enemies are way too hard i cant even complete them
they start off with cards like large wall, thief, knights and towers so by the time you get somewhere they have thier castle at 100

The first game was better, this game takes more time to get into since the interface is a bit harder to read.
Personally I don't feel you get a good enough visualisation on how strong your castle is. It would be better if the castle stayed the same but with signes of damage or improvements.
Alternatively the hit points could be oriented around defences with walls, moats, fences, towers and so on.

Beat the game but still haven't unlocked the last card. Anybody know what I have to do to unlock it?
As for you guys whining about the difficulty, I kind of liked the challenge. Sure it's unfair, but that makes you strategize a little more to claw your way to victory. For the hard campaign, try reducing your deck to 75 cards and maxing our resource cards and sacrifice resource cards so you have a better chance of drawing them...that way you can get the upper hand with resources.

campaign enemies are initially too powerful... turn one thief? lets go play multi... oh not available here, f'n bogus
