The sacrifice one guy to kill 2 of the enemy is the most gayest thing ever created on the planet. It would be skillfull if it was 1 sacrifce for 1 kill, but its not, so it sucks. it doesnt even make any freaking sence.

updates are both impressive but slightly flawed at the same time.
sacrifice 1 builder for 2 builders is overpowered, and should either be ditched or changed to requiring resources as well.
in addition, resources need to be colour coded to allow easy understanding of the overall progress of the game; interestingly, the first one was very good at showing the resources... dunno why you decided to take a step back on this.
some new and innovative additions to the game would be very pleasing, such as trump cards, or passive effect cards.
keep at it and good luck. i'm sure with polishing, this can be one of those 'hit games' that many will play for hours on end :D

Sorry, but compared to the original...this one sucks. I'm not just wearing nostalgia goggles either, I've been playing both back and forth for a while...and this one sucks...

A slight let down. The first is better than Magic the Gathering, and while this updates the awesome, awesome rules succesfully, it is not only uglier, but also slower and clumsier to play and stats are harder to see! The first game looked even more amateurish, but it was endearing and personal and it showed everything very clearly. :( My suggestion: scrap the awkward everyman flash-game looks and hunt for simpler and more efficient board game looks and hire some poor(but good) artist drawing the next game. I also didn't like the campaigns structure. I'm still left for waiting for even further sequel. Nevertheless, Castle Wars series is my favorite card game, easily beating MTG and such. Awesome rules!!!

Magic Defense is a nice idea, but there isn't much strategy if the opponent is aware that it is being used (except for using a low-resource attack). It would be nice if it was disguised as something, like a random attack or castle build.

Loved the first one. For this new one, the graphics/animation are a nice upgrade, as are the new cards, but the whole interface is confusing. Resources shouldn't be in a single row, but in several smaller rows to easily look them up. Text wouldn't hurt either, or different colors. Card info should appear with just a mouse hover. Just fix the UI, please!

I liked the first one better. The reason I played it was because I liked to really see the difference in castle size when you build more and you have more than your opponent, giving you a feeling of power. But in this, I can't tell which one is bigger, and the castle is only a fraction of the size. 3/5

what's everyone's best strategy? boiled down, mine is tavern builders with support from mage removes and ignore recruits except for a few theif and guard (walls) to bring deck up to 75. -- also, hard mode is driving me nuts! if i had not just seen the last few dumb commanders slaughtering their OWN recruits and mages while i was already 1/1/1 i might have quit.

OMG! If you`re gonna make a sequel to a game it should still keep some of the essentials! Did you notice how big 100 stories is! In the first it`s realistic but this one it looks like 20 storeys! And the resource bar was better where it was before! All in All. 3/5

A couple of small notes (bugs?): A "magic weapon"ed Quake I used on the computer opponent did [at least] 55 points of damage, destroying him, when it should have done only 54 (27x2). Also, only the first musical "track" seems to loop... The others seem to come to an end and stop.

It would have been really nice to see some difference in gameplay mechanics between this and the first one, rather than just tarting up the presentation.

guess i need to play in ninjakiwi to see multi-player mode to see if there is this feature, but i'd say that it wud be nice to be able to choose different objectives like castle size that needed to win, what u guys start with, getting ur castle down won't kill u (unlimited castle size is useless as we all know ^^), limits to stuff and such things (if u have that kind of stuff there already, then don't mind that)
(didn't play yet, but seemed nicely done and those mochi coins haven't ruined the gaming experience as i expected as i first thought when i saw those were in use. btw those coins only unlock stuff faster and 2 more castles with 3 cards that don't rly give an advantage. so those won't affect in gameplay at all ^^)
